Marigold is the first draft and Princes of Mannsborough then second draft of the same story. Marigold, having been written without an outline has a large number of internal continuity issues, but people still found it entertaining enough to award it the Silver Clitoride for May 2003. In many ways, Princes of Mannsborough is a complete rewriting of the same story.

I am sufficiently vain to think that readers may be interested in seeing how the process of going from a rough story to a more polished novel worked in this case. To that end, I am leaving both drafts up for consumption.

Marigold has it all—good grades, popularity, a boyfriend on the football team. But, she's made a critical mistake that threatens to take it all away and put her at the mercy of her rival, Thule Roemer.
