"A little girl can stop any man dead in his tracks with one simple yet very special look."

Conclusion, For Now

Now That I Have most likely managed to alienate a great many people, I do hope that you, the reader, will understand that I'm not trying to come off sounding as though I'm a great literary expert or critic. I am not. I am, however, someone who tries to put some effort into meeting a minimum level of good grammar and writing technique. I try to write at least well enough that my readers aren't distracted with having to sift and wade through a mass of spelling errors, bad grammar, and incoherent story lines. Since I enjoy reading, I try to provide my readers with a pleasant reading experience, and I hope that what I've written here might be of some help to others.

I Really Try to take my writing quite seriously. This is the part where I bare just a little bit of my soul to you. Part of why I write erotic stories is to provide myself with a bit of an outlet for my own fantasies. I write about things that, if I actually did them, would land someone in prison for a long time. I'm a true believer, though, in the idea that what takes place within one's imagination harms no one. So I write about the things that sexually arouse me. When I'm completely caught up in writing a story, my arousal level goes through the roof. As an aside, my husband absolutely loves it when I've spent an afternoon writing, because he winds up being a near rape victim.

I Also Write as a way to improve and spice up my own sex life. My husband knows when I've been writing something that has turned me on. Those are the moments when I slip into role play or age play with him. Actually, it adds to the enjoyment of sex for both of us. I know when he's imagining himself fucking a little girl, because he closes his eyes and refers to himself as "Daddy" in those moments. Is he imagining that he's fucking our daughter? I have no idea. He hasn't said, and I won't ask him. We are secure enough that if he needs to tell me, he will.

So, I Write for myself, first and foremost. I love sex, I love indulging in fantasy, I love pretending that I'm a little girl again, and that I'm a very sexually active little girl. There are times when I sit here at this computer, and find myself sitting in a puddle because I'm so turned on by what I'm writing.

I Also Write for those people who decide to honor me by reading my stories. Yes, I said HONOR me. When I learn that someone has read something I wrote, and that they actually enjoyed it, I consider that an honor. Why? Well, I naturally assume that most readers are like me. They peruse stories, seeking first a subject that interests them, and then looking through the stories until something catches their eye enough to make them want to read it through. For myself, I would guess that I might read one in every five stories that I take a look at. So, if someone was caught up enough in my opening paragraphs to read my story, I consider it to be an honor.

The Thought That there is a person sitting at a computer somewhere, reading my story and becoming sexually aroused by it is one of the most intensely arousing thoughts that I've ever experienced. When all of the editing is done, when I've finished all of the proofreading, I read through my story one more time before I post it. As I do, my mind is full of images and visualizations of someone, somewhere, reading my story. That reader begins to get caught up in what's happening. I picture her or him with one hand in their crotch, touching a pussy, stroking a cock, becoming more and more aroused by what they're reading – by what I wrote. I imagine that person in their chair, finally coming to orgasm. An orgasm that came about simply because of the words that I wrote for them to read.

That Is A very intense feeling for me as a writer. Someone, somewhere, whom I've never met, is reading my words, and experiencing a (hopefully) very intense orgasm because of those words.

The Point Of this little ramble is this: As an author, I feel that I have an obligation to provide my reader with the very best experience that I can give. I want my reader to stand up from her or his computer, and walk away on shaky legs, muttering, "Oh my God, that was fucking HOT!" If I don't write to the very best of my ability, then that's not likely to happen.

Think Of It this way. This site is for adults, right? We've all seen the standard warnings, telling readers that if they aren't of legal age, they need to leave. Well, if this is a site for adults, how can you justify posting a story that appears to have been written by a fourth grader? We've all seen them. The story idea is wonderful, but the writing is absolutely horrible. Think about that – this is an adult site. We need to write like adults. There are several authors I avoid like the plague – I'll see an interesting story title, then I notice the author, and I think, "Nope. Not reading that crap." I don't think any of us want to become an author like that.

Ultimately, What We do as writers is a form of exhibitionism. We're using words to tell the readers, "Hey! Look at me! This is what I fantasize about!" Or, "This is what I did when I was a kid." Or, "This is what I'd really like to do with my wife in bed at night." Whatever it is that we're trying to exhibit to the readers, we are at heart exhibitionists. We're writing these stories in the hope that they will be read, that they'll be enjoyed, that the reader will remember them. Even though we're letting them be seen at no cost to the reader, we still have an obligation to give our very best effort to what we write. Sloppily written stories show the reader that we have no respect for them, that we really don't care what they think of us as authors, or what they think of our stories. Here's a little analogy for you: Think of putting a piece of crap out for people to read as being a form of masturbation. You got all hot and horny while you wrote it, and maybe you even masturbated to the fantasy. But you didn't care about your partner in this little venture - the reader. On the other hand if you put out your very best effort, then in a way, you've become intimately involved with your reader. We all know that being intimately involved with someone is far better than playing with yourself. I don't think I need to point out the difference between, "Wham, bam, thank you, ma'am," and a long, slow, painstakingly attentive lovemaking session. So, think of your writing as foreplay, and think of your reader as the object of that foreplay, who then gets to experience being made love to by a caring and careful writer.

And Now, Stop reading my sermons, and read my stories!! Hopefully, they'll turn you on…

Some Helpful Links For Writers

In This Section I'm going to put some links to web sites that I've found to be of enormous help to me when I'm writing a story. These links are by no means all that's available, they're just the links that I've found to be to my particular liking. You should spend some time on the web, researching the resources that are available to you. The internet truly is an unlimited resource for just about anything you need to find.

This is probably THE most authoritative book on grammar. To quote from the web site: "Asserting that one must first know the rules to break them, this classic reference book is a must-have for any student and conscientious writer. Intended for use in which the practice of composition is combined with the study of literature, it gives in brief space the principal requirements of plain English style and concentrates attention on the rules of usage and principles of composition most commonly violated."

Wordsmyth is an online dictionary and thesaurus combined. It does require you to be registered in order to use the full range of features, but it's a free site, and I'm sure we're all familiar with using dummy emails for that kind of site. I like it because it's very simple and straightforward, with succint, easy to understand definitions.

The Oxford English Dictionary is quite simply THE definitive source for finding the definitions of words in the English language.

Those Are Only a few of the literally thousands of online resources that are available to you as a writer. If none of these suits your tastes or needs, a little research with a search engine should help you find some resources that you like. I urge you to make full use of the internet in your writing efforts, and to always seek help when you need it. You won't regret it, I can promise you.
