From My Friends

This Page Will link you to stories that were written by some of the friends whom I've met through this site. These are the people who have read my work, enjoyed it and contacted me, and with whom I've developed an ongoing correspondence.

For Various Reasons these people do not wish to actually register as authors here at ASSTR. Their reasons for that are their own, but I will say that they are valid and understandable. Perhaps eventually they will feel more comfortable or confident about creating their own sites, but for now, I have offered to let them publish their work through my own site.

This Is Not completely altruistic on my part. Anything that increases the traffic on this site will hopefully lead to more people also reading my own work. Being the little exhibitionist that I am, I'll do anything to get more people to have a look at my material.

These Will Be stories that cover whatever genre the authors may choose to write about. I'll not limit anyone, nor will I censor anyone. I'll simply post their work here, and either provide a way for you to contact them if you choose to do so, or I'll forward your correspondence to them. That's up to the authors. If they wish me to provide a way for you to contact them directly, I'll do so.

Brian

Some of you are already familiar with Brian. He was published here on my "Miscellaneous" page before I decided to create this page and move his story, "Connection" here. I met him via email not long after I began publishing here, and we correspond regularly.

If you'd like to let Brian know what you think of his stories, you can send your feedback to me, at the email address on my "Contact" page, and I'll forward your mail on to him.

Soulstar

Soulstar writes some of the most amazingly beautiful poetry I have ever read. We met when she contacted me to tell me how much she is enjoying the Janelle series; we began to correspond regularly, and I think of her as a dear friend. I find it hard to believe how quickly we became friends - there is some sort of connection, I suppose. At any rate, I'm proud to have some of her work on my site.

If you enjoy this poetry, please take a moment to let Soulstar know. It really is true that the only payment authors receive at a site like this one is feedback from the readers. We write for you, and it's lovely when you take the time to let us know what you think of our work. You'll find her contact information at the end of each poem.

AnonLust

AnonLust is a college student and is enviably a single parent to an eleven-year-old old girl. If you would like to contact AnonLust, please use the form on my contact page, and I will forward your comments.

Jen

Everyone's favoite fantasy weather girl, Jen is a hedonistic adventurer who spends her free time engaged in sex. No, seriously - that's all she does. If you would like to contact Jen, please use the form on my contact page, and I will forward your comments.

CaroleAnne

Hailing from across the pond (for us Americans, anyway), CaroleAnne has agreed to do me the honor of posting her stories here at Erotic Childhood. I know you're going to love them - like good sex, they go on and on for just the right amount of time, leaving you spent and breathless.

Cheryl Taggert

Cheryl Taggert is a writer who is well known at Nifty.org. She is presently bringing some of her work to ASSTR and Lesbian Lolita. When I read "Little" the first time, I was taken by both the simplicity of the plot, and the sheer eroticism. I think you'll enjoy this author as much as I do.

Letoria

I first met Letoria through Lesbian Lolita. We've grown to be friends, albeit of the online kind, and I have a great deal of admiration for her stories, and her abilities as a writer. She subscribes to my way of thinking - that the sex should be secondary to the characters. If you've never read any of her work, you're in for a treat with this little gem. You can check the Links page to be redirected to her site and find more of her stories.

A Special Note

If you have read my "Advice" pages, then you'll know how I feel about the importance of using an editor. If you haven't read those pages, then do so, please. I mean, I wrote them to be read! So get over to them and read.

This is just a short note that concerns my current editor. Putting all false modesty aside, even when I'm in a dry spell, not posting much material, I get several thousand hits every week on my web site. My inbox is flooded most of the time. From this, I can only infer that people enjoy my stories.

While I cannot begin to express how gratifying the fan mail is, how much I like seeing my hit counts every week, I have to keep one thing in mind, always. None of that would be happening if it were not for the efforts of my editor. While I am reasonably confident in my skills as a writer, I am nowhere near being perfect - none of us are. That lack of perfection is why we need to use an editor.

I am so very fortunate. I've worked with one editor for about six years; recently, he seems to have disappeared somewhere. That's the nature of online relationships. He's done this before, and I hope he'll be back. In the meantime, ASSTR - and more accurately, Leslita's own - JetBoy has graciously taken on the job of acting as my regular editor. He has been a godsend.

A writer without an editor is rather like a man without a cock - nice to look at, but really of little use. While I have a fairly good command of the language and grammar, as I said, I'm not perfect. It's all in the details. A good editor spots those mistakes of detail. That's precisely what JetBoy does for me.

My stories are passable before they go to the editor. They don't approach being good until the editor has finished with them. When I get my stories back from JetBoy, there are highlighted areas all over the place. I'm usually dismayed at first, until I see that the changes he's suggested are tiny. Tiny, and yet they make a world of difference to the story.

So once again, I say to all of you who would seriously think about writing: Find a competent editor, and pay attention to what he or she tells you. Your story will only improve by doing so.

And JetBoy, thank you. You've helped me turn passable stories into good works of erotica.
