Between Her Legs:

A redhead with spread legs... Does it get any better?

Jenny Talks About Particular Stories

In simple alphabetical order by series or story, here are some fuller descriptions of inspiration behind and intentions of some of the stories.  There are spoilers contained in what follows, as you may imagine.

Series: Allison in Chains. This series is pretty straightforwardly just about sex.  If I were to write, "Allison, Link in a Chain," now it would probably be more character-driven and a little tenser.  As it is, it's a pretty straight-forward sex story, but there's no arguing with the sex.  If you've never seen any native Alaskan girls in their late teens or twenties, then you may not be able to appreciate just how amazing they can look, or just how sexy a combination of slutty and demure they can affect.  I hope this story gets at least some of that across.   The second story, "Beth Makes a Chain," is (in my opinion) a better, more exciting story.  There's a bit less emphasis on the actual sex, but there's plenty of lust and tension to make up for it.  One thing which I really like about this story is that, even more than in the first one, there's such a physical contrast between the lovers.  Two girls and a guy who are all unmistakably attractive, but in very different ways.  I think it makes for a gorgeous visual image and an extra layer of intrigue.  I have a couple notes here  for at least a third story, "Heather: The Weakest Link," in which Beth and Allison  try to get an all-girl threesome going.  I hope to write that story, because the notes, as few as they are, definitely have me interested in seeing where it goes.

Can You Imagine?  A similar theme to other BetweenHerLegs stories, that of a married woman awakened to her inner lesbian, but played out in a different fashion.  On the one hand, I appreciate the straight-forwardness of this take on the idea.  But there are two things which especially get me hooked to this story.  I love just how attractive and beautiful the characters are, for one.  Obviously, I write very few stories in which the characters aren't attractive.  Anna and Freida and even Vermil and Jessica seem even more so.   The second thing that really gets to me is the theme of worshipping the beautiful female body.  I'm not religious, but if I were to worship it would be something tangible and with an immediate impact on me, like my lover's body.

Daily Salvation.  There is little overtly sexual about this very short piece, but I find the erotic tension palpable.  There are  few hints that the act of shaving is givign the woman sexual pleasure, but that's about it.   Nevertheless, this story is one of my favorites, because I relate to it so much.  Clearly the personality who wrote this story was in touch with a deeply real part f the real me.  I do shave every day, and this is very much what it is like.  It is a sexually-charged attempt to make myself more like I was when I was a teenager and in love with another teenage girl.

Series: ...Dare?  I can't seem to get enough of these characters, I confess.  Apparently I couldn't when I was writing, and I still can't now that I'm reading and editing.   I love the mixture of sweetness and unabashed perversion in the stories, too.  None of the characters seem perverted, but it doesn't take much to push them into acting obscenely.   Looking at it now, I think it's  an attempt to recast my foster parents in a mroe positive light: what if they had sated their sexual desires in a more romantic, adult way?  Physically and even a bit in personalityh, Margaret and Steve are very like them.  "Would She Dare?" is a great story, especially in the early scenes with Margaret and Jennifer.  I think I would have slowed this down and drawn out the tensions and developments a bit more had I written it more recently, but it's still good.   I really love the attempt by Margaret, Jennifer, and Steve to have a committed threesome, as is really only mentioned in, "Would She Dare Again?", and I think I want to try and really explore that more in later stories, because it's a neat idea with a lot of sexual and emotional charge.  Hands down, however, the scene inside the strip club with Margaret is one of my fave scenes of all time.   With the next couplet, the stories get a little out of control, and I plan to calm things back down after that.  "Would They Dare?" exemplifies a theme you've undoubtedly noticed in many of my stories: a man fulfilling a long-time fantasy he had about the mom of his friend.  Why do I love this so much as a lesbian?  Partly because of the woman's side: it seems to really validate the mom as a sexual person, without entire breaking down her wholesome image.  Partly, too, this theme derives from my biological mom, who was having an affair with a teenage boy from our neighborhood when she and my dad died.  It's one of the few things I remember, and stumbling in on them was my first exposure to sex.  It's a very powerful memory and fantasy.  "Would They Dare Again?", which hasn't been finished nad posted yet, blows the top off everything, and includes a very rare attempt by me to place someone kind of like me into a sexual situation with her own mother.   Despite the craziness which results there will be an ultimate cool-off that leads to more of the sweet type of tension we saw in the first story.  Some personal dares that will be explored in later storie s include a romantic evening for three and Margaret's hiring a teenage Asian hooker for herself.  Not sure of titles for those stories yet, and they exist only as notes and breif sample passages at this point.

Did You Ever Consider?   One of my favorite themes, clearly, is the awakening of a straight, married woman to the more perfect joy of lesbian relationships.  This story focuses on that with the planting of an idea, and courses through the woman's fantasy life.  I think Denise's use of porn, chat, and cam2cam is sexy, because she doesn't just jump from the planted idea to licking another woman's pussy.  She struggles with the conflict between the new fantasy life and the desire to be faithful to her husband.    The body of the story feels very real to me.  I especially like how frustrated Denise gets when she finally decides to try and act out.  I'm not 100% sold on the ending, though, I must admit.  I think the twist with Lee Ann being a hooker is a good one, don't get me wrong, and I also like the contrast between the reasons for Denise's smile and Lee Ann's smile.  It's a nice juxtaposition of pure and impure.  It's also not entirely unrealistic -- though I'm not sure the bit with the candle would work as nicely in real life!  But I think the opening of the story starts with the promise of one kind of pay-off, and by the end not only has there been a very different money scene (so to speak), but it seems likely that no pay-off in the tone promised will ever be delivered for Denise.  That might be realistic, still, and is probably quite sexy.  But to me it's still a little disappointing as reader.  The ending of this story was one of the things I was really tempted to rewrite.

Fairbanks Hotel.  This is a pretty basic sex fantasy story.  First time group sex, a little sexual tension, unconventional marital behavior.  But, hey, it's good sex, and it sounds like a great time to me!  It's true, too, that most of the waitresses and other staff who work from the cruise lines are almost obscenely hot.  I'm sure this fantasy has been had by dozens if not hundreds in Deb's and Luke's shoes.

Finding Work.  A slut-transformation, cheating-wife story with a constant lesbian undercurrent.  What could be better?  A slut-tranformation, cheating-wife story with a constant lesbian undercurrent and a bunch of porn, that's what.  There's no sense denying it: I love and hate this story.  When I first read this story I fell in deep lust over Kathryn.  I don't have crushes on fictional characters very often, but I definitely have a crush on Kathryn.   I enjoy the people and the web of tension in this story, and I even like the double-plot-twist at the end.  But it's too short.  I really want more.  I want more about Kathryn and Carrie, and even about Sam and Selena.  I am still tempted to re-write this story with an expanded ending, but I'm mostly holding true to my intention to leave the stories as originally written.  I did add some more to the rendezvous between Kathryn and Vaughn, however, because I felt like it did both characters a disservice in the original.  I love you, Kathryn!  Muah!

The First Face I Saw.   This story is obviously about straight, married women who realize that they are in love and lust with one another.  I would probably do several things differently if I were to write it now, especially to draw out the emotional aspect of the relationship.  Too, both women are pretty damn slutty from the outset so their reluctance to admit pleasure in kissing another woman seems a tad far-fetched.  That said, I don't think I could re-write this story even if I decided it would be okay.  This is one story whose inspiration was so strong that when I read it, I remembered the moment at which the idea was conceived. It's a strange and confusing thing to remember something that another person did and felt, but it's also precious.  During a particularly intense episode, I woke up in a hospital -- not as Jenny -- and the only thing I was aware of was that, "The Adventures of Briscoe County, Jr.," was playing on my roommate's TV.  I was entranced by Kelly Rutherford, the actress who played Dixie Cousins.   I wondered what it would have been like if I had awoken not to her on a TV show, but to her actually in my room.  Thus, the story...

Happy Housemaid.  I hope it doesn't sound like I say this about as many stories as sometimes it seems to me.  But this is one of my favorites.  There's nothing particularly personal here, at least not in a deep way, but the sex is incredible, and I still feel a sense of character.  I think it's neat how this story seems like s slut-transformation story, every encounter escalating in breaking down new barriers for Rebecca, but then, in the end, it calms down nicely into a straight-wife-becomes-lesbian story.  I think it's both sweet and exciting to end the story with a new romantic commitment, rather than just an explosion of slutty activity.  Though take note that her commitment is sealed by one of the slutty lessons she learned from Libby.  Woohoo!

Impossible Attraction.  There's a lot going on in this story.  I don't recognize any of the characters, and there are no specific story elements which seem familiar to me.  A number of plot forces, however, are personal enough that I can recognize what I was exploring when the story was Little ol' blonde hooker... ;)written.  Strongest of these is the impossible attraction itself.  In one sense, the relationship between Yuri and Reyna is an exploration of what it might have been like had "Vidya"and I had mutually romantic interest, rather than the one-sided infatuation which she felt for me in real life.  In another sense, the relationship between Yuri and Reyna is frighteningly similar to the relationship I had with Kim when I was a teen girl.   We were not prostitutes, but we were at the sexual disposal of our foster parents.  Amidst that, Kim and I found each other in a love which was, essentially, impossible to live out.   In a more abstract sense, the whole story is an allegory for the unattainable desire I live with every day to once again recapture my teenage love.  Apart from that theme, though, this story is also an exploration of the search for beauty in ugliness.  I was only a prostitute for six months.  Then and now, I have known a lot of girls who were in it for longer than that.  Common to all of them is the basic ugliness of the profession.  Most things a prostitute does aren't sexy, and most situations in which she finds herself aren't that erotic.  For her.  But they are for someone else.  That creates a strange atmosphere which I was trying to recreate here.  A hooker lives in an ugly world which brings some sort of pleasure to others, and must struggle to find some beauty for herself.  The result is very dark, sometimes sexy, occasionally sweet.  There will probably be a whole range of reader reactions to this story.  Some readers may not get turned on at all, and that's okay.  Some will proaby find excitement where others may only see humiliation or boredom.  For me, it's different every time I read it.  Part of the story are always disturbing for me,  but I'm never sure what's harder to accept:  the violence people are willing to perpetrate, or the decisions they are willing to make.

Series: It All Began with...  This is probably my  favorite series because these fantasies are very personal.  I have a major fetish for women's panties, I aboslutely love having fingers inside me, and I always get chills when I go into a public laundry room because of the erotic potential it holds for someone with my inclinations and an interest in sex with near-strangers.  Additionally, while most of the BetweenHerLegs characters are strangers to me, the characters in this series are people I actually remember.  Candi is modelled after a neighbor my family had in Fairbanks.  She was smoking hot, lived with a boyfriend, and had girls over for lunch-time quickies.   She always had the blinds down and windows open for sex, and so as a teenager, I heard her with both men and women and it was an incredibly erotic sound, particularly given how hot she was.  She literally looked just like Candi is described.  And, yes, when I was fifteen I once masturbated with a pair of her used panties I stole from the laundry room.  Donna is also modelled after one of our old neighbors who I only ever ran into a couple of times, but whom I would have loved to see more often.  She was married, but she had this smile and this look about her eyes that seemed to suggest she was always on the verge of flirting with you, whoever she was.  She was beautiful, but her mysterious, sexual secret made her alluring.  One time I saw her sitting in a car with a man other than her husband, and I'm pretty sure he was fingering her.  I'm positive she got off.  While there have been some changes to Vidya, at least her basic appearance and personality, are modelled after a girl I turned tricks with when I was eighteen.  She was a couple years older than me, but had a huge crush on me.   We had sex a couple times, but she was too in love with me for me to be comfortable with it.  I somtimes wonder how things might have gone if I had opened myself up to her instead of shutting her out.  She might be frustrated at her inclusion in my public fantasy life, but would probably enjoy some of the story-line particulars.  There are notes and partial drafts for other stories in this series, and I hope you are as excited to see them finished as I am.

Jane Says Yes.  I find this story sexy, but even though the emotion moves at an unrealistically rapid pace, I also find it sweet.  It feels me with hope.   I think that's about all I'm comfortable saying about it right now!

Series: Katie's Quickies .  There is a definite place in the world of web-based erotica for stories that are just about wild sexual encounters.  That's all these are.  Very short stories, each about a single-encounter, generally involving dirty talk and humilation, always taking place in a semi-public location.  Katie the character is modelled after a real girl from a psych ward,  but I do not know anything about her apart from his physical description, which is much as given in the stories.   While I don't remember writing the story, I remember the incident that certainly inspired the character. As in the stories, the real-life girl  was staring at me in in the lounge one day, and I really did feel both turned-on and creeped out.  I wasn't sure what to do about it.  I wasn't sure why she was looking at me with that intensity, and I was confused as to how she could look blank even while looking that intense.   I highly recommend Mens Room blow-jobs, but always in the open, never in a stall.  Stalls are small and cramped and awkward.  I have never fingered another woman in a Restaurant before, but I would dearly love for a hot, sexy female stranger to give me that treatment.  I think I would feel like a movie star.    I've not gone to college, so I don't know about Office Hours  sex, but conceptually it has my stamp of  approval.  Dressing room antics are to encouraged, and a  Thrift Store makes it a little dirtier somehow.  I was a little surprised by Theresa's impact on Katie, and I can't wait to flesh out some notes on future Katie stories, one of which includes a return of Theresa.

Late Bloomer.  I think many of us have a soft-spot for a slut-transformation story, and that's basically what this is.  I do like the pacing of this story, though, in terms of escalation.  I also think the ending is neat because it makes clear what Laura's next level of sluttiness is without letting the reader know if she is at last satisfied or if there are even more levels ahead for her.   What I reallly like, though, is some of the sex could be pretty humiliating or spirit-breaking for Laura, she gets stronger every time.  She is, as the object of desire, the one in control.  And, frankly, I think that's fucking hot.

Love Church.  This story is at turns sweet, at turns perverse; at turns innocent, at turns obscene.  This is one story without even a hint of lesbian attraction or sexuality that I still find incredibly erotic.  I like that, despite the age difference, a lot of the force of the seduction rests with Chandelier and not with Jim.   While,  as in most sex stories, things happen at a ridiculously fast clip, I think the sense of pace is still good.  I like being swept up in the way this relationship develops.  Very sexy.  In fact, there's a second story in the works about related characters and I hope that as I work on it I can end up witha  similar balance in tone.  Yes, it's smut, but it's sweet smut.

Mutual Friends.  There's no sense denying it.  This story is as goofy as it is  rauncy.  There is a smattering of character development, enough to make the story interesting, but there's no real attempt at realism.  Or at restraint.  The story peaks with two fifteen year old girls having nasty lesbian sex, while a forty-something wife takes to her bed a twenty-something guy and a sixteen year-old girl.  Lots of lust, lots of melodrama.  All that said, there's also no sense denying how incredibly hot this story is.   It's not literature, but I like it anyway.

Series: Red-Headed Rose .  Not sure where this series is going. There's only one story posted, and I have drafts and notes for at least two or three others, but they're all so different in tone and theme, I'm not sure what to do with them.  "Red-Headed Delight" really thrives on fetishism, I think.   If you're into dental appliances (and some people are, especially some guys who link retainers and braces to off-limits young girls) or red-heads, or asian men, this story is probably good for you.  There's good sex, and I think the solo scenes with Rose in her dorm room are incredibly hot.   Even so, and despite the sexiness of the characters themselves,  there's a spark missing in this story, which I think was one of the first BetweenHerLegs stories to be completed.  There is something of a character-line, but not much tension and not much change.  It's a good story, but not my favorite.   This is probably another reason I'm not sure yet what to do with the others in the series.

She's My Sister.  I'm not sure what to make of this story.  It has a totally different tone from the others.  It's kind of like, "Too Pretty...", but with an even more documentary style, and a lot more darkness and shadow.  There is some sexy stuff here, no doubt about it.  And I recognize little bits and pieces of my teen years' household, but not enough to be worthy of comment.  I don't dislike this story, but it's a little hard for me to get my mind or heart around.

Summer Vacations.   There's a really neat clip to the way this story unfolds.  It starts off like a series of sexual vignettes that are kind of hot but not all that compelling, and ends up slowing down and introducing a lot of emotional content.  While I do enjoy Owen's stories, I think it is Senya's frustration which really drives the story, and part of the power of Owen's adventures is in their contrast to hers.  Owen undersgoes character change almost from the start of the story.  It takes Senya a lot longer to get around to that.  The story of Owen and Bev is a nice one, I think, but what's best about it is how it propells Senya to finally find her change and her satisfaction.  On top of all that, I have soft spot for people's love lives being destroyed in order to be rebuilt better, and that certainly takes place here on a crazy scale.

Too pretty to be a lesbian? Too Pretty to be a Lesbian .  This story is a not entirely comfortable for me to deal with.  On the one hand, the personality who wrote this story honestly thought it was strongly autobiographical; that she had done what Amy had done -- taken her truest love and ruined it in approximately this fashion.  In reality, I never did this, and I wasn't even still in school or proper society when I was eighteen.  Nevertheless, I resonate strongly with the notion of people not believing I was lesbian because I was, "Too pretty."  I largely accepted my path toward bisexuality grudgingly as a way to gain acceptance.  Now that I'm coming full around to lesbianism again, I still encounter that sort of prejudice.  People who either think I'm too pretty to be a lesbian or else so pretty I must be like a porn star lesbian (i.e., bisexual).   Also, while I did not lose my virginity in the way Amy did, and while I never did the same cruel thing she did, I've used sex in plenty of cruel ways and most definitely identify with the mixture of sexiness, sweetness, and regret which I think this story impart.  The story is sexy in its way; it certainly has its moments, but the guilt of Amy is awfully personal for me to get really excited about.

Wet Lips, Dry Ropes.  I am simultaneously disturbed and aroused by this story.  I'm not 100% comfortable with the balance I hit here. There's underage sex exploitation and there's slavery, neither of which are things I exactly want to come out in favor of in the fashion of this story.  But I wanted to explore a little bit of why such things do happen, because, frankly, they do.  I exaggerate naturally, because it needs to be a good story.  And I hope that the ending redeems a little bit of the darker eroticism readers may experience as the story begins.  The two girls, I must admit, are physically very similar to a couple of teenage girls I saw in the lounge of one hospital I was in.  I thought they were damn cute, and I found myself idly wondering if they were sexually active, and that turned into fantasizing.    They were clearly infatuated with one another, but I don't know them at all, so these characters are nothing like them. But Alysha and Trish are very dear to my heart.  A lot like, Impossible Attraction, this story has a dual theme of exploring the beauty which is in the dark acts themselves and then the greater joy to be found by the two girls themselves amidst it.  I was never bound like this, but I certainly felt like a captive of my foster parents.  My dearest love, my foster sister, was bound occasionally, and never realy had any of the honest happiness I had with our foster mother's attention.  While we never ran away together, we found our perfection in each other.

A Whirlwind of Change.  On the one hand this story is unusual for a BetweenHerLegs story, because there's not even a hint of lesbian attraction or tension, let alone sex.  On the other hand, this story is one of the most personal stories here, and one my favorites -- though my feelings about it are pretty complicated.  Elements of this story's theme appear in other stories(such as Finding Work, Summer Vacation, Would They Dare?).  "Whirlwind" was almost spooky the first time I read it, though.  Cathy is very much like my own biological mother, and my first exposure to sex was when I was thirteen and on the day of my grandfather's funeral I walked in on her coupling with an older teenage boy from our neighrborhood.  My own father was not made to watch, nor did he take dirty pictures of me, but a custodian at my boarding school did sneak such pictures of me and when I found out, his only real defense was, "I'm sure your dad does the same thing, beautiful."  It planted the idea in my head, and the idea wound up in this story.

Worth Any Price.  This is actually the first BetweenHerLegs story I've actually written and edited, completely as myself.  I think it's very consistent with the others, though perhaps with a slightly different tone.  I think it holds up well, though, and I enjoy it.  I can certainly relate to Melle's being able to find physical pleasure from a man, but then realizing it's not worth it.  But I love that, in the end, she doesn't regret those two copulations.  Instead, she thinkgs of them as the ticket price for her encounter with Olivia.  And I absolutely adore the encounter with Olivia.  I think it's one of the favorite first time lesbian moments I've written.  Good story.  Well done, Jenny.  hahaha

Series: The Wrong Third .  Looking back through correspondence that BetweenHerLegs received regarding these stories which were previously posted, there was a wide range of reaction to this series.  Folks, it's sexy, it's fun, and it's totally screwball.  It's not suposed to be serious, it's not supposed to be realistic, and the "twists" aren't supposed to be shocking.  It's just goofy, naughty good time reading.  You don't have to like them, but just take them for what they are!
