A lot of my story ideas come to me from having cybersex with random strangers. I do this on the DalNet and Undernet IRC networks in the channels #Dad&DaughterSex, #0!!!!!!!dad&daughtersex, #0!!!!!!!ltlgirlsexchat, and #0!!!!!!!!!!younggirlsex. Now I know what you're thinking: "isn't that incredibly risky with the NBC Dateline/To Catch A Predator/Perverted Justice people lurking out there?" No, it really isn't risky at all for the following reasons.
So, given all that, I feel safe in exploring my fantasies with another person online. I'm not too demanding, aside from wanting them to play the role of my daughter between the ages 10 and 12. I mention that right off the bat, and if they refuse, then I apologize for taking their time and close the chat window. There is a bit of negotiation that goes on initially, mostly regarding what we each enjoy and tailoring the story/scene to those preferences. It goes a little something like this:
<angel_13> did u have a scene in mind Hardguy?
<Hardguy> well, is there anything in particular you enjoy?
<angel_13> i like anything from sexy and sweet to kinky and intense and all different ages too
<angel_13> i was thinking it might be sexy if i didn't do well on my science biology and reproduction exam and u decide to tutor me.
<Hardguy> i love little girls about 11, just starting to develop and discover sexuality
<angel_13> or if we are home alone for the weekend cos everyone else went away
<Hardguy> maybe we can combine those 3 ideas
<angel_13> that would be fun!
<Hardguy> are you ok with that age?
<angel_13> sure! i like any age. that will be sexy :)
Oh, for the record, I don't cyber using the name Hardguy. I prefer not to state publicly what name I do use in chatrooms, but it rather clearly indicates to the other person what role I'm interested in playing. If anybody asks me ASL, I usually point out that the A and the S are obvious from my name, and that the L doesn't matter. Generally speaking, if they couldn't have figured that out on their own in the first place, then I'm probably going to put them on temporary ignore and move on.
Once we're done learning a little about what the other person likes, then it usually falls on me to set the scene. In the example above, she did that for us (and yes, it was quite fun to play). I have about a half-dozen setups that I like to rotate through, and after explaining the situation I ask if any clarification is needed on anything or if they have a suggestion to add some other element to what I just laid out. Generally, I think they just want to get to it already, and that's fine with me, but on occassion I meet another creative soul who injects a little extra flavor into things and can really get into their role. Those usually end up the best, and really get me going. Nothing is better than sharing a fantasy with somebody who doesn't sound completely bored or monotone with every line they type.
When you really get down to it, cybersex is essentially cooperative writing. Each person builds upon the scene from what the previous person wrote. On occassion this might turn into a lot of action text back and forth, and not so much dialog, but I think that given how men are more visual creatures to a woman's more emotional view of things, this can evolve into something that both sides will enjoy. Guys get off on the sight of cum spattered tits, or the view of a pussy getting stretched open by a cock. Women get off thinking about how it feels to have their lover cum on them, or how amazing it feels to have a man's cock inside them. Sure there are exceptions to those generalizations on both sides, but as long as a cybersex session can express both of those views of sex, it can result in a story that will get both sides off.
Eventually, all good things must come to an end of course. I'd say that probably 90% of all cyber sessions end abuptly with one party just leaving in the middle of the play. I think this has a lot to do with the fact that it is rather impersonal a way to have sex, and if you cum quickly, let's face it, you're kinda out of the mood then. There's no face to face awkwardness if you happen to see each other in the chatroom later, and so manners tend to fly out the window. I've had to bail sometimes simply due to the fact that I've run out of time. I typically do it before I go to bed, and make sure I have at least 2 hours or so. Even with that amount of time, cybering can go on for several hours, even if it takes only a few minutes to read over the entire story. It takes at least 2 minutes to really do a decent job of reading what has just been written to you and then responding with something more fleshed out than "oooh god, yes, i'm cumming!" There are always a few people out there who want that kind of quick response, and if I fail to respond to them in less than 30 seconds, they'll tell me I'm too slow. So sorry I wanted to make sure I spell everything right for you, and didn't want to come off sounding like a drunk teenager sending a text message.
I think what it all really comes down to is have fun. If you're not having fun, then close IRC and go do something else that you enjoy while playing with yourself.
