Simple Rhyme

By

Tami <tamishy@webtv.net>

There's a time to cry,
there's a time to sigh.
But now it's time to dry your eye.

There's a time to beg,
and a time to plead.
But now you've gotten what you need.

It's all over now,
time for forgiving.
No more sinning in this life your living.

Now's the time to be good.
But even if you believed you could.
The question is, if you would.

Cute little rhyme...catchy ending...and I vote for no, he or she wouldn't :)

This was a finely written melodic poem, capturing the tender hearted feelings of the punisher. The use of rhyme was so very sublime. This verse is delicate and sweet, for us readers a nice little treat.

Paul Simon wrote "I'd rather be a hammer than a nail, if I could, I surely would." Paul would later comment, to those that labeled his work poetry, "Robert Frost is a poet; I'm just Rhymin' Simon." That being said, your work rhymes, it has content, and makes valid comment on spanking. Set to music, it would be a nice lyric.
