Timing

"Over my lap," I instructed Paul.

He complied grudgingly. "You don't know--"

"In case." I lowered his seat flap, exposing his trembling buttcheeks.

"Unfair, Brittany..."

"Timing." I raised the smooth-backed hairbrush. "Immediate bet payment."

The official's arms flew upward, my arm swung downward.

SMACK!! Game ended, my fun just started...

A new way of wagering, I like it. I'm not sure if it's completely fair though. But if you bet, then you must be prepared to lose in the end. Cute little story.

Nicely written...alot said in a few words...never bet more then you can pay  :)

This is cute, though a little insubstantial. It's to create real depth in so few words, obviously. Perhaps what's missing here is something of the unexpected, something a little more quirky. It would have been nice to know, for example, what would have happened had the bet gone the other way.

An amusing way to place a wager. It makes me wonder do we have two winners here? I liked how the author wastes NO TIME in collecting her winnings. This short piece elicited a few chuckles from me.
