The rattan cane hissed through the air...the final stroke landed and send me into the abyss...I could hear the crowd cheering...and see the judges holding up their score cards...10...10...10...10...10...he had been perfect!...smiling, I knew I hadn't been half bad myself.

Hmmm, perhaps this event should be judged in multiples of 6?
But the story is a nice glimpse of a sporting event and a ncie use of the mini-saga form. I like the narrator's final comment, too.

This is a cute story. Canings can be intense but this brings some playfulness to it. It is also relateable.. who hasn't dreamed of Spanko Olympics. I also like how the author makes the scene a shared one. Good writing...

I like the idea a lot, but it isn't IMO very well-suited to the Mini-Saga format. Other people may react differently, but I was a little disappointed to see just a brief synopsis of something that clearly deserves a longer story. Also, why does the scoring consider only the top's performance? Aren't both parties to the scene equally important to its success?

I like the tone of this story, and think the author does a good job setting up an unusual spanking scenario without a single wasted word. Nice conclusion, too. :)
