She'd said no.
He walked away, confused.
Heart aching, she helplessly followed.
Rang the bell. Swallowing her stubborn pride.
He stared hard: "What now?"
"I need...sometimes..."
"Yeah, sweetheart, don't we all." The door started to close.
She pushed back. "I'm sorry. Please?"
His slow grin was worth the thousand spanks she deserved...

Actually slightly over 50 words, but still a good entry for this challenging category. A nicely sketched vignette which created an engaging pair of characters. The dialogue was well chosen and really stimulated the imagination to allow you to expand on the scene in your own mind.

This is an interesting exchange of dialogue, things unsaid and yet said. I feel that this exchange would add to a more detailed story. Unfortunately with so few words there isn't a lot of character development. This story does give us a lot of emotion though.

I like this because it puts a lot of emotion into very few words. I think it would have been nice to know what the female character had said no to, though. A spanking? Sex? Something unrelated? Overall nice effort.

Excellent. One of the best mini-sagas I've read. Did a really good job in only 50 words.
