Loud slaps of big palm against small naked buttocks finally slowed and stopped. Later, she stood stoic in the corner: softly tapping her head against the juncture of the walls. The vivid memory of her painful ordeal over Dad's large lap made Jennifer promise herself never to do THAT again!

A perfectionist. An exactly 50 wordcount. Coherant and borderline poetic as so many in this genere are not. It stands alone, yet it is not too contrived to have been embedded in something else.

Decisions gives us a very precise idea where all best-laid plans come from. No doubt, many people would like to know how well the girl will be able to keep it, but for the moment the punishment does reach its purpose.

I really admire this author's neat way with words, and "Decision" illustrates why. In just fifty words, he's created a story wuth a clear beginning, middle, and end. But more than that, he provides some insight into the main character and some beautifully crafted phrases («Loud slaps of big palm against small naked buttocks...») that are certain to stick with me a while. Well done.
