Cabbage Patch Cowboy
Story Description:
This is the story of a young man given up at birth for adoption on the
black market. The man who adopts him can't have children but marries a
woman who already has two older children by a previous marriage. He
talks her into buying a baby with him on the black market so he might
have a son of his own. The
boy is mistreated
and abused by his adopted family. Although he loves his
adoptive dad, his dad beats him severely for things his older
step-brother does and blames on him. Through a near
death experience,
the
boy
miraculously discovers
who his real parents are. Instead of going with the angel, he decides
to
live for his real parents and a community of folks who will come to
love
him. They will rise up to save him from his adopted family. It is a
story
of faith, hope, trust, and love, but most of all, the belief in the
goodness
of others.
