Gone but Not Forgotten
I know this has been a confusing journey lately! First ffstories.com was gone and this site (the asstr-mirror.org one) replaced it; then the ffstories.com site went live again and this site became a backup for it (briefly); now ffstories.com is gone again. This time, I'm afraid, it's forever, too. FFStories.com is no more. For now that domain will redirect you to this site (www.asstr-mirror.org/files/Authors/Forbidden_Fantasies/www) but please don't count on that doing it forever! Bookmark this URL: this is my new (old?) home. www.ffstories.com is dead.
My original posting (to the ffstories.com site) about what happened follows. Before I get to it? The "old" forum is being reactivated, and should be live soon. You can find it here at http://21363.rapidforum.com/. Make sure to register! That forum is the original site forum, and (very soon) it will be 100% live again.

Awful, terrible news! FFStories is probably going away. Before I explain why let me assure all of you that I will maintain a site if or when this site goes away. Make sure to bookmark www.asstr-mirror.org/files/Authors/Forbidden_Fantasies/www right now as that will be my new home if or when ffstories.com goes down.
So what's going on? Well, as you all know I don't actually host this site myself. A friend of the site we call the WebMaster does that-- he pays for the hosting, the domain name, etc. Recently he (and a lot of other providers of online erotica out there) have become really nervous because of what happened here . Make sure to read that page before continuing here or you won't understand what I'm talking about!

Now, those of you who are from the United States (like me!) probably find Red-Rose's allegations there quite shocking. I mean, for the U.S. government to sneak into your house, take your computers, etc., and then charged you with obscenity for posting stories? Seems crazy, right!? Well, you're not alone. On the Alt.Sex.Stories.D (discussion) group a lot of others are skeptical about what Red-Rose alleges happened to him/her, too. I'm one of those skeptics*. Still, it's the Webmaster of this site (and not me, and not you!) who could possibly get into trouble if the government really has decided to start violating the first amendment . Ultimately it is his decision, then, on whether or not the site should be taken down.
He wrote me about this today and said that he has decided to take the site down in light of this crap. I wrote him back to ask that he reconsider, given the fact that Red Rose's account seems... well, like it could be a total fabrication. I also suggested we might just take down the stories from this site (and link to the ASSTR site instead) while we wait-out the whole Red-Rose thing (and to see if other, more major sites like sol.net and asstr-mirror.org go down). I only just wrote him this, though, so obviously I haven't received a reply yet.
So, where do we stand? In a nutshell: This site could go down at any minute should the WM decide to remove it. And that's totally his perrogative! If he does take the site down we will lose the following:
1.) The www. ffstories.com domain name.
2.) The ffstories forum.
That's it, though! Because like I said in the above, I would definitely keep the asstr-mirror.org site around, and most of this site's content is there already (I'm going to finish moving it all there soon, too, I promise!). I'd even reactivate the old forum, too, so we'd have that. Still, I would totally miss this site and its forum, layout, etc.
Now, if asstr-mirror.org goes away someday? Well... then we're going to be out of luck I think!
But I wouldn't worry about that right now...
So, that's what's going on. I'm really sorry about this, and I know the WebMaster is really sorry, too, but this is just the reality right now... sigh. Please, pretty-please, though, don't forget that I will not go away!!! FFStories.com may disappear but that just means I end up going home to my old host, asstr-mirror.org. Thanks!

*When I originally wrote this for the ffstories.com website, I was skeptical about what Red-Rose said happened to his/her site. I'm no longer skeptical. What happened to him/her has actually been in the news, and s/he is not the only one who's been busted. Crazy times my friends!!!!

Not time left. I would say we have a few years left. I see the visible cracks begin to appear on our freedoms and rights.
Make sure your food/emergency supplies are in good order. I won't say when the revolution will come, but those who pervert the god given rights and freedoms will regret it.
Hm, I think I get the perspective of the post immediately previous to me. I grudgingly must confess that I've been forced to see the world in a bit broader terms lately, however. Strange. A mind stretched by a new idea can't ever regain its original shape after all; never believed that until now.

Though I don't appreciate being at war, nor the idea of a son being possibly IN it 8 years hence, I must also come to terms with the fact that It has begun. To withdraw too quickly would be sending a 'warlord'-driven mentality a screaming message of weakness, and this particular warlord ideology is the quinessential Bully. History attests to this. Witness how Islam was spread all the way across the world then-known by fire and terror and blood.
I may hate the current American administration for bringing us to this point too soon, but it was inevitable. A cursory understanding of the history of violently radical Islamic culture reveals their mandatory imperative to take over the world, if by nothing but the paralyzing fear their heinous threats of mass murder effectively foster.
No. Men as twisted as this must be utterly marginalized in the world community. And one reading the history of their particular, corrupted sect will lead the impartial student to the conclusion that there is no room on this planet for any belief that will murder you and yours if you do not adopt it. Zero tolerance is the only way to survive, in this case.
There is no alternative to victory but nightmarish tyranny. The tyranny of daily, mortal fear, if nothing else. They are a virulently savage cancer on the skin of the earth and you WILL die or submit if you do not draw a line in the sand and say "This far and no farther, thug!"

I've seen this coming for years. When the people weren't looking they took an inch. That's all it takes for things to get bad very fast. I see around me many things that remind me of germany just before the nazi's seized power. They will come like theives in the night, at first no one will notice the small freedoms that disappear. And when they do people will say well I guess it's okay to lose that freedom I mean they wouldn't take it away if it wasn't necessary for our protection. One by one they will be taken from us and by the time people realize that something is wrong it will be to late. The FBI will be breaking down your door taking everything they consider evidence while the take you to an internment camp for processing. There is only one way to prevent this from happening, it's what the jews in germany should have done when the SS came banging on their doors meet them with a gun.
