April 1, '09: Good news! I have uploaded the .txt version of Chapter 20b and updated the poll etc. Also I have discovered an error in both chapter 20 A and B in which for some reason the formatter forgot a bunch of spaces and bound a lot of words together in an extremely annoying fashion. Well not to worry as I have corrected the problem in both those chapters and made the formatting better.

March 30, '09: No your eyes don't deceive you. I didn't want to make any announcements as I approached completion of this chapter as I didn't want to be late. But it is now done. That's right ladies and gentleman, Chapter 20 and by extension the entire book, IS COMPLETE! WOOOO! I really hope you enjoyed reading this. I have sincerely enjoyed writing it, despite how long it took. And yes, sometimes it was a chore. But it was a welcome one. And I finally have it done. Please enjoy the second half of chapter 20. I should note here, that the .txt version isn't up yet, just the .html. It's pretty late here, but I was excited and wanted to post it. I will do all the reformatting shortly and have the other version of it up, as well as a file that contains the entire thing. All the best!

September 5, '08: Okay... so a bit longer than 2 weeks... My bad. And I'm still not done. But the good news is the chapter is crazy long and I have posted the first half of it so you have 60 pages to read while you wait for part 2 to come out. I'm well into part 2 already so hopefully it won't be long. Wish me luck!

April 28, '08: Wow, a whole year to the day. I haven't had a lot of time with school. I started this project before University, wrote a good ten chapters in the first few months, then started school. Since then it's been four years and I have graduated and now I will finally finish this thing off. I have about 40 pages of chapter 20 (the final chapter) complete. It should be done in the next 1-2 weeks. For those of you still out there, thank-you, and the end is nigh!

April 28, '07: As promised, Chapter 19 is finally up! Please check it out and let me know what you think. It is much more plot centric and has what is my opinion the battle to end all battles. Please check it out! Enjoy!

April 28, '07: I have finished chapter 19!!!! Unforunately it takes a fair bit of work to format and put it up here and it is 3:30 am in the morning. So I will sleep, and then I will post the chapter tomorrow. Thanks for waiting for me everyone! You'll be able to get your fix awfully soon!

April 10, '07: No way... I'm back! Sorry guys, no story to announce with my dramatic return but I wanted you all to know that I have not forgotten you and after a year (plus) it's nice to see I still get emails from fans going "where is the end?" Well, it's coming, I promise. The University semester is nearly over which means I will have some time to work on this thing again. I've been thinking about it a lot lately and can't wait to get back to it. No promises as to dates as I want to be able to make sure I can back them up. Maybe a month or so and you'll see chapter 19. I'll give it my best! Those of you that have stuck with me all this time, thank-you so, so much. It means a lot, and you're probably the reason I'm still interested in finishing this thing!

August 7th: Well, guess who's late? Anyway, I'm still a little behind on 19 but hope to have it out in the near future. I fixed the problem with chapter 18 though and am still hard at work finishing off this series. Not sure when exactly I'll be done 19 but it will be before months end some time. I would guess another week and a bit at the most. Catch you all soon!

July 18th: It's been a hell of a battle but I now have a new computer up and ready to go. I switched platforms from PC's to Mac's at the same time so that's why it's taken a little longer. Not to mention I'm having some file compatibility issues that are nearly rectified. The files are up and ready to go but the html version has some wonky characters that I need to figure out how to fix. Hopefully by the time you read this message that will already be attended to. See you all August 1st! (well maybe the 2nd as the 1st is likely going to be a busy day for me)

July 10th: Sorry guys, Chapter 18 really is finished but my computer problem turned out to be worse then I thought. I still have all my files but I decided it was time to buy a new computer and let the old one rest in pieces. As such, it's just taking me a while to transfer all my files etc. I promise to have it up by friday but check before that as it may be done earlier. Catch ya later! P.S. Chapter 19's takin a while so you may have to wait till august 1st to get your hands on it. Ah well. It'll come.

July 1st: Chapter 18 is all finished but unfortunately my computer has a hell of a virus so it'll be a day or two until I can actually post the chapter as I want to get everything cleaned up first. But you can certainly expect it in the near future. Meanwhile, I'm hard at work on chapter 19 and will try to have it done asap but should have no trouble making mid-month at the latest. Talk to ya'll soon!

June 16th: Hey everyone! It's a couple days later and I have Chapter 17 all finished and ready to go! Bet you didn't see that one coming eh? Me actually making a mid-month release time? What'll really be a surprise is if I can get chapter 18 out in the next week or two. Keep a look out for it!

June 14th: Chapter 17 is nearly done and into the editing stage so you can expect to see it up on the site within the next couple days. Look at that! I actually made it for mid-month! There's a good chance that chapter 18 will be ready for July 1st as well! It's home stretch time!

June 1st: Alrighty, I just finished Chapter 16B and it's ready to go on schedule. It's another huge one, but not quite as big as part A. (only 55 pages). Anyway, I hope you guys enjoy part two of Withdrawal and let me know what you think of the new plot twist. The poll may be up tonight but it may take an extra day or two. We'll have to see how much time I have. The same goes for the .txt version of the chapter. And I know I say this pretty much every update but this time I really think I will have chapter 17 up by mid-month. It'll be a shorter one and I'll have lots of time to work on it. I'm still thinking I can have the story finished off this summer. Have a good one!

May 1st: Phew. 30 minutes to spare, but it's still May 1st and I have a new chapter for you guys. However, I should say that as I said a few days ago, I had to break it into two parts. The first part of the chapter came in at 71 pages so I am going to do my best to bust out part two in the next few weeks. It'll be out June 1st at the latest but I'm going to try for a May 15th date as I have lots of writing time in the next couple months. It all depends on how many hundred pages it turns out to be.

April 28th: Hey guys! Just wanted to let you know that chapter 16 is SO huge that I have had to break it into two parts after all so that you can all get your fix on the 1st. So that said, don't worry. We're still looking at 60-70 pages just for the first part of the chapter. That's twice the size of normal ones and it's only half done Every time I finish a scene I think of two more that I need to write. It's like a freakin terminator movie over here or something... it just keeps rebuilding itself. So, be sure to drop by sunday (probably later in the day) and it will be up on the site. In the mean time I need to go learn how to cock a shot gun one handed so I can go kick some Invid ass.

April 1st: I'm afraid I must appologize once again. As expected, chapter 16 is HUGE. I've done about 30 pages so far but unfortunately it's only about half done. I decided I don't want to split it in pieces so unfortunately it's going to be another month before it's ready. May 1st it WILL be out. Also, chapter 17 is probably slightly shorter so I am going to try and get them both out during the month of May. I don't know how well that will work out but I will let you all know at the next update. See you guys later, and don't forget to vote in the poll! I will put up chapter 16 earlier then May 1st if it's ready, but it will be done by that date.

March 9th: Chapter 15.1 is now up on the chapters page. It's only 4 pages so don't get your hopes up, but it was fun to write. So, as I say in the authors note to the story, don't take it too seriously, but it may be fun for some of you guys to read.

March 7th: Okay, I appologize. I am in fact 6 days late with the chapter and I didn't even go on, on the 1st to give an update. Things have been busy as hell here and it has meant not much time to log onto the ol' internet. Anyway, Chapter 15 is now up and I think it's a pretty good one. And to make up for the unannounced delay, I have a subchapter entitled 15.1 that should hopefully put me back in the good books. It will be up within a few days.

Chapter 16 is still planned for April 1st but I may end up breaking it into two parts as I expect it to be a doozy.

Additionally, if you guys would like, go here and vote for Chapter 14 (hell, vote for all of em if you want). If I can get a few more 5 votes on the chapter I'll be eligable for some awards and it'll put me into a #1 spot on the website's top 500 stories list. There's a few other chapters that are close to being in the top 10 as well (namely 7, 9 & 10) so some votes would be appreciated. To vote just scroll to the bottom and click on the last page number. Then scroll to the bottom again and there will be a box. You can do it annoymously and there is no need to "log in" or register an account or anything. Thanks!

February 8th: Alrighty, I've still got some people VERY gratiously doing some editing on Chapter 14 for me, so it's going to be a few days before the .txt version shows up. Nonetheless, it will be here soon along with an updated .htm file with the new edits completed.

As for Valentine's day, it's looking grim. I would say the next chapter you guys will see form me is PROBABLY going to be March 1st. The good news however is that I know have about 18 hours every weekend to write this thing and you're average chapter takes about 30. So doing the math that means there's a good chance that for the remaining 8 chapters I'll be able to get one out every two weeks. No promises at this point though :)

February 6th: Just a quick note to let you know the html version of the "regular" version of chapter 14 is up now. The rest will be up tomorrow and I will write you all a more detailed message at that time. Have a good one.

Februrary 1st: Sorry to say everyone that chapter 14 isn't done yet. I can tell you however that it is extremely long and for those of you who are a little on the kinkier side, there is a more "hardcore" version that you can ask me for if you want. That's part of the reason it's taking so long to write, I'm essentially writing two of them. Anyway, my expected ETA on both versions is sometime by next monday and I will write if that changes. Otherwise, You should have a new chapter to read by the 7th or 8th.

Additionally, because of the delay a valentines day chapter is looking a little on the unlikely side but I wouldn't rule it out just yet. I am going to have lots of writing time the next couple weeks so anything could happen. I'll keep you updated.

January 2nd: Since it may very well NOT be the first of January somewhere in the world, this one gets to be the 2nd. I have some good news. I have just been nominated for best animated story or series of the year over at www.t-s-s-a.com. If you're willing, please run by there and vote for me.

January 1st (sort of): All I can say is it's still January 1st somewhere in the world... Actually there was a doggy emergency so I had to go hunting around for some medicine all night (happy new year), and that set things back a bit. But everyone is okay now so here I am, just mentioning that I have now updated the .txt version and the poll. But for God's sake VOTE PEOPLE, VOTE! I had 10 votes for the last one and more than 1500 hits... I know more than 10 people are arriving on this site by accident...

Anyway, the next chapter is scheduled for February 1st and if you are really good (and I write really fast) I may even have chapter 15 up for valentines day.

December 31st: Just the basics tonight as I am running short of time. I'll have the html version up tonight and the text version and polls and stuff will be updated tomorrow. HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!

December 8th: Damn am I cutting it close with the whole "it'll be up in a week" thing. But here I am, I made it. Chapter 12 is now online so I hope you enjoy it. It's a long one which I think was part of the reason for its delay. My chapters tend to be more like 40 pages now as compared to the 20 they were when I started this thing... go figure. Anyway, next update will be December 31st so you can have your fix before New Years. Catch ya'll then!

December 1st: Well, I have some bad news for everyone. My computer had some issues yesterday and somehow (I have yet to figure out exactly why) erased half of my Invid Invasion chapter. So, it'll be a couple days until I can get it up but it WILL be up this week. Sorry for the inconvenience everyone, but I promise it sucks for me more than you :)

If you want to be notified when it's out send me an email, otherwise you'll just have to wait patiently with everyone else.

November 2nd: Sorry I'm a day late with the update. The chapters were up yesterday as scheduled but I didn't have time to update the links to it on the web page. Nonetheless, here's chapter 11. I also have a new poll up so don't forget to run by and vote. Chapter 12 will come out on December 1st as they are all doing a once a month gig now. If you'd like to change that, email me and send me some encouragement (or death threats for that matter) and we'll see what we can do. It's just a matter of time. See you next month!

October 15th: As promised chapter 6.5 is up on the site. I hope you enjoy it. Chapter 11 will be here November 1st. Also, don't forget to vote in the poll on the main page. You may have to refresh your window to see the new one but since the 5th it's only had 5 votes! So get goin over there and give it some votage. Have a good one!

October 5th: I have some good news, some good news and some bad news. The first piece of good is that chapter 10 is now up and it's a personal favorite.

The second good news is that on October 15th, I am going to put up chapter 6.5. That is to say an alternate ending I suppose to Chapter 6. A what if Andrea had gone through with the bet type of thing that I originally ditched because it wasn't in character. But I thought hells... I'll bet you guys would want to read the 15 page sex scene anyways.

And now, the bad news. Chapter updates will now be every month instead of every two weeks because of a workload increase and a few other factors. So, that said, Chapter 11 will be coming out on November 1st, not October 19th as expected.

September 21st: Well, chapter 9 is ready and up. haven't had much time to update some of the other areas of the website but I should have some free time again in the next couple weeks. I would expect an update by Chapter 10 which incidently comes out October 5th. Don't miss that one. It's gonna be good!

Also, I am working on adding a poll to the index page. The poll will be changed every time I update a chapter and will often affect what I will write in the future. It's your chance to be heard!

September 8th: Sorry I'm a day late guys, I got distracted yesterday and just never even thought of it. Anyway, the new chapter is up and rearin to go and the next update is scheduled for the 21st. Enjoy!

August 24th: Right on time I've got chapter 7 uploaded and ready to go. Chapter 8 is coming on the 7th of september so watch out for it! I'm still working on filling in the tech and character pages.

August 11th: Hey, what do you know, one day later and I deliver on my promise. There are three completed sections to the technology page now. The cyclone, the protoculture cell and the limpet mine. So hell, if you ever wanted to know what the width of a limpet mine is you better go check it out this instant!

August 10th: As promised, chapter 6 is now online and it's a good one folks. Go check it out. And, as expected I have had a little more time lately and more drawings etc will soon be added. Keep a watch out.

July 27th: Chapter 5 is online and right on schedule. You'll also notice I have layed a framework out for the technology page. A bio on Irene will be along shortly as I hope to have some time to draw in the near future. Catch ya'll next time! (Next chapter update scheduled for August 10th)

July 18th: The site is now at its finalized location and hopefully traffic will start to increase a little bit. As mentioned elsewhere, sections like bios and technology will take a while to really fill out because my time is mostly spent elsewhere. However, they will slowly start to fall into place so make sure you check back regularly to see what's new. Chapter updates will take place every second tuesday. The next one is scheduled for July 27th.

July 13th : The site is launched! I hope you guys come to enjoy it and don't forget to drop a line with suggestions requests or compliments. I will be updating regularly and I am now accepting submissions for the artwork section. If you want to draw Andrea and friends, feel more than welcome. All submissions will be accepted and if I get enough of them I'll arrange for some kind of contest or monthly awards.
