ShadowKnife: *snicker*
WarDancer: Afternoon all! I got a new toy!
@GoldenKnight: OK people drop it, young Wardancer is here.
ShadowKnife: Sheesh just cause the kid is here.
WarDancer: Don't stop on my account.
@GoldenKnight: ShadowKnife, it's against guild rules to talk about that in open chat anyway, I was going to tell you to stop even if we didn't have a kid in the chat.
HealerChick: WarDancer, never mind ShadowKnife as just being crude anyway... again. So what's you new toy?
WarDancer: I got a really awesome Speech to Text, and back, program! No more missing stuff said in chat during raids!
@GoldenKnight: Nice!
ShadowKnife: Hey I recognize that box, that thing not cheep.
WarDancer: Yeah Dad... bought it for me today.
HealerChick: Nice dad. I though you didn't turn 11 till September.
WarDancer: Um, it wasn't a birthday present.
@GoldenKnife: Super-nice dad then :)
WarDancer: Johnny I want to asking about something
WarDancer: Do you know anything about this charge on my credit card?
WarDancer: One-minute dad...
WarDancer: What's that box you're hiding? Let me see.
WarDancer: This is the charge on my card! What did I say about using my credit card with out asking?
WarDancer: Please Dad, first let me...no please daddy!
@GoldenKnight: Uh-oh
WarDancer: Please Daddy, not on the bare, not now!
HealerChick: o.O
ShadowKnife: I don't think he release the window is open.
HealerChick: I think WarDancer only managed to turn of the sound before his dad grab his ear.
WarDancer: Using my credit card without asking is stealing young man, and I'm not going to put up with it.
ShadowKnife: Ouch that got to smart.
HealerChick: His dad really does mean business.
@GoldenKnight: ShadowKnife, how expensive is that program?
ShadowKnife: a solid grand.
@GoldenKnight: Not cheep!
HealerChick: Ouch, I hope Johnny gets a good Dollar to Spank exchange rate, his bottom looks like it's glowing already.
ShadowKnife: I though WarDancer was a Fighter class, not a Rogue class ;)
@GoldenKnight: Uh ho, is that a hairbrush he's dad is picking up?
HealerChick: Yes
*DivineHand joins 'Dungeon Raiders Guild' video chat.*
WarDancer: Please no not the brush Daddy! I'm sorry! I won't do it again!
DivineHand sorry I'm late what did I miss... ooh my! Who's that?
ShadowKnight: WarDancer
DivineHand: Who the Guy or the Kid?
HealerChick: the kid, bought something expensive that can't be returned with his dad's credit card with out asking.
DivineHand: What a thing to walk in on, he's a little kicker I see.
DivineHand: Someone going to be sleeping on his tummy tonight. To bad my lay on hands can't help him.
ShadowKnife: Nah his dad did that before starting with the Brush of Smiting.
ShadowKnife: back on his feet show's over.
@GoldenKnight: So that's the real meaning if his handle.
ShadowKnife: I take it back having a kid in the guild isn't so boring after all.
HealerChick: ShadowKnife, be nice it bad enough for him as is.

I was impressed at how accurately the author captured the atmosphere and action of a chat room. Clearly this comes from long experience. It was a clever idea to use the device of a voice to text to voice program to capture, inadvertently, our favourite topic. Well done!

A very enjoyable story - the atmosphere of the chat room is real and alive, and the idea of a speech-to-text spanking is a lot of fun. A great fit for the category - good job, author.

Interesting way of telling the story and the voyeurism of the other chat room participants is a nice touch. However, it is quite hard to follow and confusing in places.

An excellent story making good use of technology with an amusing twist. It was so good that I felt painful embarrassment for poor WarDancer as his cyber world and friends watched his embarrassment. Love the chatter from the peanut gallery as the way of depicting the spanking -- especially "The Brush of Smiting." Even the few typos can be accounted for as text-to-speech errors.
My only suggestion is in terms of readability -- spaces between different users / voices would make for easier reading. Then again, my eyes are getting old.
