Daddy's Special Girl
"Daddy's Special Girl" by Rogue the Bronze Firelizard
(Based on the NCIS episode 'Witch Hunt')
It was late on Hallowe'en, and the team had just successfully solved a deadly assault on a Marine and the safe return of his kidnapped daughter. But instead of returning to the party at the graveyard or even returning home Abby - still in her Marilyn Monroe costume - found herself standing in her Gibbs' living room.
While she was the head of forensics for the D.C. Office she works so closely with Gibb's Major Case Response Team that everyone knew she was one of Gibb's people. But no-one knew how far they took his paternal role with her. Which was why she was here facing his stern attitude.
"Abigail," he started to which Abby shivered in response to, he only called her that when she was in trouble with him. "You were late in responding to your page, why?"
"I couldn't hear the pager over the party noise, you would have though a graveyard would be quieter... Daddy." You don't call Gibbs Sir, he 'works for a living'. And Abby normal childlike enthusiasm lent itself naturally to the roles the played in each other's private lives.
"Young lady you knew you were on call, you should have made sure you pager would have got your attention when it went off. That's no excuse for being late, and with kidnappings every moment count."
"Yes, Daddy. Sorry Daddy," She said with a hung head.
"Not as sorry as you are about to be young lady." Gibbs reached under her flowing dress and pulled down her matching white cotton panties - no silk panties for his little girl - to mid calf be for taking her wrist and guiding her across his lap. Once there he lifted her dress to reveal her milky white bottom and thighs, his perky goth girl did not nearly get enough sun. his hand proceed to bring color to to her smooth derrière, though pink not tan.
Abby gasped firm the strength of her Daddy Gibbs' hand. She did not enjoy the pain spankings she received, she was also crushed her behavior had disappointed him enough to earn one. But she would have it no other way, be she craved the balance such submission brought to her. The freedom it gave her spirit knowing her daddy would always be there to stop her from going to far. And the pain and sure knowledge of his forgiveness allowed her to forgive herself. Abby had no compunctions with him to hide her tears as his paternal application of his palm have her ample cause to shed them.
Afterwards as she stood hands on her head in the living room corner with her hem tuck into the low back of her dress displaying her Daddy's handy work she planed in her head how to modify her pager with a special vibrating extension that she could not ignore, that only her Daddy Gibbs would know how to trigger. Just to show she'd learned he lesson.

I have to wonder that you set this on Halloween, but the roleplay involved was with Daddy. It might seem a nitpicky point, but when you've only got 500 words, then choosing Halloween and her as Marylyn should be more pertinent to the story. Otherwise, the story could have opened with, "Abigail, you were late in responding to your page," which would have immediately set the tone without the clutter of irrelevant details. I love NCIS; there's obviously a daddy-daughter thing going on with Gibbs and Abby, so the idea fits well with the series.

I haven't ever watched NCIS, so I am unable to say how accurately the author has captured the essence of the characters, but s/he has captured the essence of a "Daddy/daughter" relationship accurately. Nice use of the genre.

I've never watched the show so I'm sure this will work better for NCSI fans, but for me it felt a little short on detail. I wasn't sure what she was being punished for or what the party in the graveyward was. I did like the relationship between them however, and think it was very well described in such a short story.

I'm not a frequent watcher of NCIS, but I've seen enough to know that this father/daughter dynamic doesn't require much of a stretch - it's very easy to add to what happens in the show. This means it doesn't quite have the subversive effect of slash which completely reimagines a relationship, or creates one from nowhere, but it does have the advantage of fitting into the show as is, and adding some appealing subtext. The father/daughter scene here is written in a slightly generic manner, but - again - that has strengths, because sometimes the classics are very much the best to return to.
