At the Museum

Katie is in the restaurant at the art museum with her guardian, Gary. She has already upset him by roaming around the museum. Her Aunt Rose made her eat a sandwich she didn't want to eat, so Gary struck her twice with a stainless steel spoon at the table....
"How many times are you going to embarrass me and make a scene today? Three? Four? Just let me know when I get close to a familiar number. What? Now you can't even finish a sandwich? It's a sandwich. It's not like we're forcing you to eat sandpaper or something. Couldn't you show just a little appreciation? Is that too much to ask? This could have been a really nice day, but no, you decide to get snippy, disappear, and then pull a prima donna act!" Gary said.
"I know, I know" Katie scowled.
"Now you're going to have an attitude on top of everything else? I don't think so. Maybe I should take you down to the car and we can have a little attitude adjustment session. Would you like that?" Gary asked.
"No!! I'm sorry I was bad today. But I ate the rest of my sandwich." Katie offered. "Yeah, only after I almost took your hand off with a spoon" Gary said. "It's not like you could just finish it voluntarily, right?"
Katie was silent and stared down at her hand. It was red and swollen. "Do you have any idea what my hand looks like right now?" Katie asked.
"I have a pretty good idea it's going to match your bottom when we get home." warned Gary.
Katie shivered inwardly at what he implied.

This story was cute and very enjoyable I want to know what happened when they got
home! I enjoyed it and the writing was easy to understand and to follow.

I always feel bad when I have to say this...but I really don't like this story. It's seems a
lot more like a poor kid being attacked verbally by an overly sarcastic father...who then gets
violent and threatening with her, than a spanking story.
There is nothing kind or loving in this piece. I guess I like a little edge to my stories at times but this one wasn't a good edge piece either. I'm not sure what else to say...I just don't like it.

Katie sure does have a very strict guardian who seems to expect A LOT from such a
little girl. You really did capture a tongue lashing for those who find it hot! Looks
like Katie is in for quite an evening at home. Thanks for sharing this!
