With thanks to my muse, nw, who saved the pivotal quote from oblivion.
But, Sir....

Today's spanking, completely deserved and justified yesterday, now seems quite unfair. Now that it's imminent.
"But is it not true that nothing has changed? ... Except that your dress is up and your panties are down."
True -- embarrassingly true. With a sigh of resignation, I take my position across your lap.
The End

I think this is an interesting piece however I get lost in it. <snip>
I have seen the light thanks to this year's dictator and now the story makes sense to me. I had missed that there WAS conversation going (not sure how I missed the quotes but there you are).
Anyway, NOW I think this was a wonderful vignette. Captures the moment very very well and is very clever. I need to clean my glasses and get a spanking for missing the point of the story.
Anyway, the author did quite well with the saga entry.

Without being too critical, this mini saga gets the point across to me in a short to the point way. It is a job well done. It is missing a critical question mark at the end of «Except that your dress is up and your panties are down.»? and there is a sentence fragment with «Now that it's imminent. »
But all in all a delightful mini saga.

This feels somewhat haiku-like in its simplicity and clarity. Rather than struggling to squeeze too much story into too few words, it settles for capturing the essential truth of a moment -- ritualised and just -- and does that very satisfyingly, leaving the reader the pleasure of extrapolating the context however he chooses. Nicely done.
