Times a-changing
Bodies in play
My bottom is bared
Bent over, under, asunder
However did I do without his power?
And how could I ever want this to end? |

I agree. How can I want this to stop? I'm reading this poem with a hint of melancholy although not sure if this is what the author wants to convey.
Nicely worded, succinct, concise, conveys a lot of the uncertainty I know I have sometimes with certain people.

My first -- and second -- reaction was that this doesn't work. Too disjointed in its form and thought pattern. However, it occurs to me that this very disjointedness is what makes it work.
The speaker's desperation and confusion in dealing with overwhelming thoughts and feelings is what comes through as I read this.

It doesn't really say anything. A point for effective and correct use of alliteration.

Very nice statement of emotions and feelings regarding a spanking received.
