The Bubble Bath
By
While taking a bubble bath, I said something bitingly nasty; he was most displeased.
Naked, dripping, I immediately found myself over the ledge of the tub, staring at that silly mat designed to resemble a multicolor tropical fish. My moist, bare bottom, paddled with the wooden bathbrush, just one shade:
Red.

Lovely mini saga entry. I can see and hear it all which to me is the sign of an excellent story. Kind of my idea of a good relationship. A quick snapshot of a couple who has its priorities right.

Short, succinct, and totally conveys the whole story. As a normal rule, I find mini-sagas and poetry boring. But I was quite impressed at how well you conveyed this quick correction of behavior without it being silly or trite. Good job!

A wonderful, steamy, sensual scene! I could picture it in my mind. Wonderful language and format. The color shift from rainbow to red fit beautifully, cleverly emphasized by your use of a separate paragraph to instantly change the focus to Red. Well done!!
