There is a real serenity that comes through in these few words. A sense of calm acceptance. And the ending is sane and somehow almost triumphant.
The really best poems are Really Hard Work. Poetry is distilled language, and each word must be perfect and cause resonance of sound, meaning, and emotional evocation all at once. This work doesn't quite scale those heights. But seeing that when the writer first sat down, she wasn't even attempting to commit poetry, it's pretty damn nice.

I liked the very deft use of words in this piece. It explores the mixed emotions we all have about our kink without drawing any facile conclusions. Thank you for sending this along.

A very nice poem that asks the questions that we've all faced at one time or another. It's often quite hard to articulate WIITWD, and this piece does that well.

A question many of us have asked, no doubt.
