Saving Grace

By

Pablo <Pablo.Stubbs@newsguy.com>

He found her, carried her out to safety just as the building crashed in flames about them. A miracle, they'd all say.

But, patting the fire-service thermal goggles in his pocket, he knew it was having been a very naughty girl that had saved her.

He planned how he'd save her again.

Hmm. Are you suggesting that he found her because the tempreature of her rump was a bit on the high side? With actual fire about, I'd say the ratios don't work out. But it's an enjoyable premise.

It can't be anything but good news that something useful can come out of a girl being very naughty. Especially, if it saves her. Especially, if it leads to her being saved again.

It took me a while to get this, until I remembered your story about thermal glasses last summer. I'm still not sure I really understand what's going on, but at least I get the gist of it. It's an interesting concept, but I'm not quite sure what happened.

Intriguing. This, to me, says everything and nothing. I know there are only 50 words, but I feel better use could have been made of them.
