Ivy and Joe'd been friends forever. Since Third grade, when she'd punched the classroom bully square in the nose for knocking Joe's glasses clear across the schoolbus.
By Senior year, they'd talked, and laughed, and cried together ten thousand hours. Luckily for Ivy, a third of 'em across Joe's knee..

This was very sweet and gentle. Everyone should be so lucky to have a relationship like that. I was definitely left wanting to know more!

Much credit here for attempting the original mini-saga concept, which is to present, in 50 words, a complete story, with beginning, middle and end, rather than just a tiny moment or fragment. Having the start of the friendship be an act of strength of Ivy for Joe is a neat touch, providing a little twist of the unexpected. This is certainly an interesting relationship, with much more to tell.

They sure are lucky ones. To find each other so young. Nice minisaga story.
