A neat idea. Perhaps seems to be missing some sort of twist or punchline, though? Maybe something to do with how the doll is made specifically for spanking? A bottom that reddens would seem a basic requirement.

This was a delightfully fun little story told very well, with in the context of a few sentences. Fulfilling his emotional needs, the character put his new proud purchase to good use. Satisfying his own fetish.
