Plantation Punishment
By
Joe Whatever <joewhatever845@hotmail.com>
She had never lived on a plantation before, and slavery troubled the beautiful young bride. "They need to be disciplined like farm animals!" her husband warned her. "Remember: we give these illiterate savages religion, discipline, wholesome work, and a proper language".
At first the young plantation mistress felt sorry for the pretty slave wench. Although she was a blushing 18 year old virgin, the men in the slave market examined the wench roughly, as if she was a cow or a pig. She was naked, of course; why waste clothes on an animal?
The naked slave girl had looked so embarrassed and humiliated on the auction block that the plantation mistress had purchased her out of pity. But the pity had turned to anger when the young mistress realized how useless and stupid the girl really was. It was obvious that the unintelligible beast did not understand the first thing about scrubbing, cooking, cleaning, or even shoveling manure.
All she did was cry and blubber gibberish!
The anger turned to rage when the plantation Mistress caught her new husband humping the slave girl in the barn. It was true that the wench had been strapped down naked over the "mounting bench", and she appeared to be resisting the assault with all her strength. But what did the randy little bitch expect, when she pranced around the plantation wearing nothing but an old torn rag?
The frisky little bitch was going to pay!
The next morning the slave wench was hanging upside down with her ankles tied to a branch of a large tree in front of the plantation house. Both Black and White gathered to watch the punishment, and the stark naked slave girl squirmed in helpless humiliation as she dangled butt naked in front of the enormous crowd.
The mistress picked up the strap. As a further humiliation, the terrified slave wench had been forced to oil the strap all night.
The mistress smiled. The soft, supple leather would hug every curve of her sassy fanny!
"Tell me again where this slave wench is from?", the plantation mistress demanded.
"The slaves name is Susan, and she comes from a place called Atlanta in a country called the United States", the black overseer replied. "She only speaks the gibberish tongues of English and French, and she practiced the savage religion called Christianity before we converted her to Islam". "Her father is a powerful chief; they call him a Senator". "When her sailing ship was captured by the Barbary Pirates she was put on auction block here in North Africa".
The beautiful blonde slave girl flinched as her black Mistress carefully measured out the first stroke across her trembling bottom. The black Mistress had heard that America was a dreadful place, where black people were actually bought and sold as slaves!
Unthinkable!
The beautiful black woman burned with righteous indignation as she CRACKED! the first stroke across the pretty blonde slaves naked bottom...

A twist of history, present day injustice. What originality lacks, is made up in raw form. The writer makes a good effort, an up and comer to be one of the good ones. I look forward to reading more stories by this author.

An unusual and surprising ending to this story, kept well-hidden. Good detail throughout.

Well, this is one use for your college history classes. You make good use of the interactions that plantation mistresses and slave women had, and that gives a good background to the stories. The motivations of the characters are clear, and I found it interesting how you turned readers' assumptions around--I didn't realize until I reached the end that you hadn't used anything that would serve as a racial marker until the end of the story!
