Legend of Happy and Sad

By

Kate <Kate438@aol.com>

Once upon a time there was a baddd Southern Belle. She was Stubborn And  Difficult. So SAD that nobody, even her relatives, wanted to be around  her.

Over the years, the little girl turned into a gorgeous young woman. Still  SAD, but pretty to the eyes, and full of sass.

Around the time of her eighteenth birthday, the girl met a man.  His  general demeanor was HAPPY. Handsome, Articulate, Prominent, Particular,  Yankee.  They fell in love, married, and stayed together forever.

Can you guess why??

Kind of silly, kind of fun. Just the type of story you need to lighten the mood every once in a while. A story that ends with a smile on my face, makes me very HAPPY. Thanks for the smile.

This has the simplicity and sweetness and fun of a story one might tell a child before bed. A favourite story - one they know extremely well already, but still like to be told. This isn't one for *small* children, but, well, bedtime stories don't stop being fun, and good for us, when we get older.

Why can't more stories be like this? Clever, brief, witty, humorous...all the good things that a story should be. Bravo!
