A Lunar Education

"Corporal punishment is still legal on the moon you know," Adriana's family used to warn her whenever she mentioned her college plans. "You'll have to stay on your best behavior."
And Adriana would roll her eyes and pretend that the phrase 'corporal punishment' didn't make her tummy flutter. "Lunar University has the best hydroponic agriculture program anywhere," she'd reply. "Plus, Uncle Henry owns a farm module up there. I can live with him and Aunt Doris, and gain practical experience while I'm still going to school." And whichever one of her relatives had been teasing her would nod their head thoughtfully, and express their admiration that she had thought things out so clearly, and that would be the end of it.
So plans were made, and in due course Adriana left for the moon.
Uncle Henry was waiting for her at the spaceport. "I'm sorry I'm late," she said after greeting him with a quick kiss. She lowered her voice. "I think the shuttle pilot needs a good spanking."
Her uncle cocked his head and looked at her for a second. "Maybe he does at that," he said, then picked up the heaviest of her suitcases and led the way to the slidewalk.
For the next three weeks Adriana worked, and studied, and mentioned that some person or another needed a spanking as frequently as she dared. Then one day as she was finishing up her homework Aunt Doris came into her bedroom. "I know you're aware that corporal punishment is permitted on the moon," she said, "and I think it's time you found out what that really means. If you'll follow me please."
Adriana's heart began pounding and her palms suddenly felt damp. "What is this"
"You'll see," her aunt said, as she led Adriana down the hallway toward the master bedroom. "You've been making comments about spanking ever since you got here, so I've arranged for you to find out about it first hand, so to speak."
She opened the bedroom door and Adriana followed her in. She took two steps into the room and then stopped. Uncle Henry was in there, bending over the back of a chair with his hands on the seat. His slacks and underwear were bunched around his feet. When he saw Adriana his face turned bright red and he quickly turned his head away. "Oh God, no," he whimpered. "Please."
"Silence young man," Aunt Doris ordered, then turned back to Adriana. "Henry has been a very naughty boy," she said. Adriana giggled, unable to stop staring at her uncle's pale bottom.
"And so I thought," her aunt continued, "that it was about time you got a chance to watch and see what happens to naughty boys. You can even help me teach him a lesson, if you feel comfortable doing that."
Adriana grinned and licked her lips. "I think I would like that very much Aunt Doris," she said.
Still bent over his chair, Uncle Henry moaned.

I didn't see that ending coming. Sometimes readers get too smart for their own good, and it gets the best of them. Cool story, surprise ending, I think that's what this contest is all about. Nice Job

Whoa....didn't expect that one. Sci Fi but kind of irrelevant that it is. Well written and easy to follow but as I said...didn't expect the ending at all. Sort of a gotcha I think. Way to go.

Once again Starship shows great talent and imagination with a spanking fiction set in a science fiction background. One can clearly see the budding spanko personality of Adriana. She has left many hints both on earth and the moon. I admit the ending caught me by surprise. I expected it to be Adriana eventually across someone's lap. The characterization and use of space age technology was magnificent, and a very enjoyable story to read. I would like to see a sequel to this one!
