Another Episode Of Blonde

By

Mara Maharakshasa <MaraMahaRakshasa@aol.com>

On the positive side, he'd list Marcia's classic beauty. There are also her seductive green eyes, coy and playful. Her natural blonde hair, worn long. Her fresh, white skin. The fire-engine red lipstick ring she leaves around the shaft of his cock. On the negative side, she's his wife's best friend, and a terrible gossip. They're at Joe's Bar, and philosophizing about life.

What is love, she'd said.

"Just a second-hand emotion? All you need? A many splendor'd thing?" he replies cynically, torching another Salem Light.

"No, you know what I mean, you idiot," she snaps, glugging on her white zinfandel _ another negative. "What is love, as opposed to what we have? I mean, I like you, I'm consumed with lust for you, but love's what I give to my dog.

And Barney and the kids, I suppose."

Barney is her realtor husband, a couch potato and sports fan.

"Yes, we have lust. I lust you, too."

"To most people love iswell, you meet someone, and you can't get him out of your mind. You start to dream about him. You feel nervous when he's around, and anxious when he's not there. I mean, even before things get serious. And then, suddenly, you're fucking him. Knowing what his dick tastes like, seeing his hairy asshole, smelling the sweat. All the seamy details. But you're still in love. Then, I don't know, you kinda get put off by something. A habit, or an attitude.  Something he says one day. The stupid present that gets bought, something thoughtless, like kitchen stuff but the fucking may carry on. Or, unless you're married to the person, it sort of fades, bit by bit. There may not be a blow-up. But you realize one morning, nah, this isn't love any more. It's just ... I don't know. Duty. A habit."

"We're talking about Barney here, I hope."

"Yes, we are."

"And what's the cause? Just 'familiarity breeds contempt'?"

"Yeah, cos if he's away for a while, I start loving his memory. And then, when he's back, him for a while again." She slurps. "But then, there's what's lacking, too."

"Which is?"

"The spanking thing. He doesn't get it, at all. I mean, he's humored me, but it's not in him."

"Whereas"

"Right, whereas, a certain male I know just loves to beat the living daylights out of me. Love to tie me up, treat me like a whore, makes me come over and over, like a dirty teenager wanking over her secret diary..."

He smiles. "That's because a certain blonde I know really is a whore, struggling to escape from her everyday existence. She can't get enough cock in her, she loves to be humiliated and punished. And she deserves it. She earns it..."

"Let's get the check? My panties are soaking wet," she purrs. "I'll have a dark spot on my skirt soon."

"Right. It's the motel for you, Marcia. Cane and strap.

You'll be standing up for a week, after I'm through."

This story presents us with an interesting bit of "love vs. lust" musings. Many can relate to the description of the ways the love can slip away. Interesting story, all in all.

I like this one. It is a great conversation about the relatinship. Talking about spankings and turn-ons. It is excting and leads us to the end. The dialogue is good. I also like all the details. The author paints these characters for us which makes them more believeable.

Again, good dialogue and nice, sharp visuals, but like many of this author's pieces, it seems as if spanking were an afterthought instead of the main event.

Another Episode of Blonde is a very human portrayal of need and what people will do to fulfill it. The dialogue is engaging, and the sense of judgment runs through it.  It brings love down to earth and demonstrates that people don't have to like very many things about each other to get along in some circumstances.
