Chapter VIV: No Such Thing As A Coincidence
“What’s on the agenda today?” Captain Lee greets Anna as she takes the helm at the comm.
“Not much,” Anna smacks the monitor in front of her. “the vidscreen is wonky today. I can’t seem to upload my files. The connection is really slow for some reason...”
“I thought the bots pulled them from Confederate HQ and beamed them to us.”
“So much for doing everything on the sly.” Anna huffs. “Is Caitlin on this?”
“I haven’t spoken to Ms. Wray since this morning. Is it just your screen?”
Lines upon lines of garbage code fill Anna’s screen. She furrows her brow as she scrolls through the nonsense, trying to make sense of it. To the best of her knowledge there’s never been a glitch in the system—at least, not a severe one. Her eyes dart anxiously as the screen starts to freeze. She prays it’s only a bug, and not a nightmare virus from her dreams...
“Bad news, boss,” Anna studies the vidscreen. “I’m not a computer expert, but I think my computer is infected with malware...”
“It’ll have Ms. Wray examine it later this afternoon.” The captain waves a dismissive hand. “Is your tablet still working?”
Anna nods.
“I’ll have to fetch it from my quarters, but I should at least be able to access the confidential files just fine.”
The LED lights in the comm flicker on and off erratically. The two women glance anxiously upwards. Emergency panels kick in seconds later. Captain Lee’s stomach tightens. This can’t be what she thinks it is...
“What the?” The captain exclaims.
“I got a bad feeling about this...”
Emergency lights kick in moments later as the power continues to flicker. The captain and Anna exchange dreadful looks, both thinking the same dreadful thing. At least they still got backup generators and enough air supply to last a few hours. More than enough time to fix the problem. Maybe it’s just a short circuit...
The stomp-stomp-stomp of footfalls echo nearby. The creased brow .
“It’s official!” Nikki throws up her hands. “we’re screwed.”
“What is it now?” Captain Lee glances at her.
“The shields are down, the laser cannon’s down... I can’t restart them without a manual reboot. I’d have to calibrate the laser, recharge the force field—it could take an hour plus before we’re back to normal.”
“The mainframe’s been compromised. Jovedamn it!” Captain Lee bangs her arms against the chair. “You still have your keys?”
“Never leave home without them.” Nikki jangles her keys. “Do you think it’s the mainframe?
Anna stares at the emerald orb drifting ominously towards the ship. It shimmers as it’s hues change from second to second. Her eyes remain glued to the sight as she watches with a mixture of fear and curiosity. She pulls herself away—albeit reluctantly.
“Guys, we have company.”
The Captain stares at the sphere as it drifts slowly but surely towards the Orion, growing more menacing in size. Her heart pounds in her chest. While the mainframe was on the fritz the ship must’ve drifted into Vang territory. Bloody fucking coincidence.
“Either this is one hell of a coincidence,” She growls. “or we’ve been set up big time. Get Caitlin over here, now!”
Nikki darts back through the corridor at lightning speed. The hum of recycled air reverberates through the ship as Anna and Captain Lee sit silently watching the orb. This could very well be the end for the entire crew—all because of a strategically placed virus.
The weapons officer marches with her arms in the air, looking terrified as Caitlin parades her at gunpoint. She grins evilly as she heads toward the comm. Anna glances at her form-fitting spacesuit, wondering if it’s one of Caitlin’s quirky fashion statements or if she’s planning to abscond for good.
“I’m surprised you didn’t finger me sooner.” Caitlin cackles evily. “You space jockeys couldn’t spot a traitor in your midst if your lives depended on it.”
“What are you talking about?” Anna shakes her head.
“I’m the one who planted the virus in the mainframe. While you girls were busy playing space cowgirls I locked myself in the engineering room and designed the perfect malware. I set it up so that it’d cause the ship to broadcast our wavelengths to the nearest Vang vessel in sight. Or do you really believe all those sightings were one-off?”
“You little...” Anna lunges for her.
Nikki grimaces as Caitlin presses the laser pistol against her temple. Her eyes actually appear to be frightened. If the steely space marine could be so cowed by a lowly tech officer, what else is Caitlin capable of?
“One more move and she’s spacedust.” Caitlin barks.
Anna backs away.
“What did we ever do to deserve this?”
“You ignored me!” Caitlin shouts “I warned all of you about bringing that girl on board, that it’d be nothing but bad luck. But you went ahead and did it anyway, and now that she’s wormed her way into your hearts you’re acting like she’s a member of the family, like some fawning pet. Well, she’s not! She’s a parasite and that’s all she’ll ever be!”
“You sold us out because of that?”
“We were a unit—a family!” Caitlin rails. “I made a difference. I belonged. But then you went and discarded me like a toy in favor of that, that...thing.”
“That doesn’t give you an excuse to sign our death warrants.”
“Death warrants!?” Caitlin snorts. “Don’t you get it? The Vang are our liberators. Once your mind is clear you’ll understand what a drain that girl was on all of us. Then we could be a real family again.”
The orb grows larger and larger as it approaches the Orion, until it appears to be on top of it. A clear ringing, like a church bell reverberates through the entire ship. Anna, Nikki and the captain fall captive to it’s hum. Their hands fall to their sides as they stare straight ahead.
Despite being unable to move Anna manages to communicate telepathically with Vanessa, yet she knows she won’t have much time until the fog takes over. Already she can feel her thoughts becoming more fractured. In a few minutes the transformation will take full effect.
Vanessa, if you’re hearing this...stay in your room...
A placid smile creeps along Anna’s face. I can feel your willpower crumbling... the reptillian voice in her head commands her. Submit...Submit to me...
A hand snakes her trousers as she pleasures herself. Supple fingers tease her clit as she cranes her head. A feral moan escapes her lips as the lust builds inside her. In less than a few minutes the young lady with the genius IQ has been reduced to a masturbating bimbo by a voice inside her head.
Her colleagues are no worse for wear. Nikki cups her breasts as the captain fondles her lover’s genitals. Yet strangely, Caitlin is unaffected by the fog.
Vanessa... Anna battles through the mental haze. «The Vang are almost here...whatever you do, don’t go out...side...uggh...»
She briefly regains her senses, only to have them quashed by the lustful fog. She moans to be taken...by anyone, or anything.
A Vang soldier materializes moments later, clad in a space suit and formal regalia. He looks with not a little interest as Anna, Nikki and the Captain engage in an orgy of self-pleasure. He is almost beside himself.
“Are they ssssoftened up?”
“Yes, master.” Caitlin replies.
“Is it jusssst you? I thought there were more.”
“I’m waiting on one more.”
“How many?” The Vang asks.
“Four.”
“That ssshould be enough to ssssatisfy an entire sssquuaad...” The Vang licks his lips lascviously. “Good work, slave.”
“I live to obey.” Caitlin bows.
Anna, Nikki and the captain kneel with their hands on their knees. They stare at the officer with zombified eyes. They shamble towards him as they race to offer themselves up to the alien. It’s not everyday that a lone female throws themselves on such a being, much less three. He can only imagine what the fourth will be like.
“What do they want?” He asks.
Caitlin shrugs.
The trio groans in a low tone as they crawl towards the officer. Their voices are a garble of gutteral sounds as they progress. The Vang can only shake his head in amusement.
“Vang...cock...Vang...cock...” They chant. “Vang...cock...Vang...cock...Vang...cock...”
“Better give them what they want...” The soldier unzips his suit.
His massive girths would make any Casanova with a raging hard-on envious. That there are are two of them is just icing on the cake. Both members are at least six, maybe seven inches erect at the most, with more than enough room for manuverability should the need arise. The officer grins.
Anna, Nikki and the Captain line up with expectant looks in their eyes.
“Vang...cock...Vang...cock...vang...cock...”
They take turns sucking him off. Nikki and the captain take licking, licking, licking. Their grips are firm yet ginger as they swirl their tongues around his holes. Their strokes are never too fast or too firm, just right. They swap places—and semen—several times, yet the don’t seem to tire.
Anna whimpers and pouts as she waits her turn. She tides herself over with the taste of her own juice, licking it off her damp fingers. But it is second only to hot, Vang semen. Her whine is like that of a spoiled brat.
Her turn finally comes though. As Nikki and the captain retire Anna scrunches up to take their place. She plants her lips on the Vang’s penis. She can barely fit her mouth around it, it’s large. Yet she seems up to the task. Giddy with excitement she pumps him up-down up-down like a piston, glad just to be able to hold him. The friction generates plenty of pleasurable heat, but also enormous pressure. The officer loses track of time as Anna indulges herself. Minutes stretch like hours—and he’s on the clock too.
Tangents of sex, lust, love and an almost spirtual joy courses through Anna’s soul. For a flicker of an instant she realizes what her sister yearned for so dearly—the surrender, the emptiness, the lack of independence. It all makes so much sense. If she’d known much sooner, she would’ve submitted herself long before now.
A tiny voice in the back of her mind snaps her out of attention.
“Where am I?” Anna glances around confusedly. “Who are you people?”
She scoots away in fright, but Nikki and the captain hold her down. Her frightened eyes dart anxiously.
The Vang suddenly explodes. Anna is showered in gallons of come, bathing her entire body in his semen. One glance at her soiled clothes tells her everything she needs to know. Her face is ashen with horror.
“By Jove!” She screams. “What have I become?”
“Lizard fuck!” The officer exclaims. “I got to get them back to the facility before it’s too late. “I got to get them back to the mothership before it’s too late!”
“What about me?” Caitlin throws herself at him.
“It’s too dangerous.” He pushes her away. “The beam can’t sustain more than four individuals at a time.”
“But you promised to take me with you!”
“I’ll come back for you, I swear!”
“And the girl too?”
The Vang nods.
A white light blankets the comm and fades away just as quickly. Moments later Vanessa walks into the comm, grasping her head.
“I heard Anna call my name a while ago...oh shit!”
Vanessa recoils at the spooge filled floor.
“What happened down here? A whipped cream orgy?”
“I don’t know,” Caitlin pretends to be shocked. “I just came here a moment ago.”
“Whare’s Anna? And Nikki? And the Captain?”
“Gone.” Caitlin shrugs.
Vanessa hangs her head.
“Vang?”
“Affirmative. I tried to fight them, but they swarmed the comm before I could discharge my pistol. We were outnumbered 5 to 4. I’m sorry, Vanessa.”
“Dammit!” Vanessa slams her fist against the wall.
The aching pain radiates through her arm. She grimaces and flops down in the captain’s chair—the same spot where Lianna Lee was moments before.
“We have to send out a may day...” Her voice drifts off.
“Our communications systems are down. It’ll be hours before everything is back online. By the time the signal reaches the nearest outpost they’ll be long gone.”
“We have to find them...” Vanessa’s voice cracks.
Vanessa clutches Anna’s locket around her neck as she rocks herself to sleep, as if willing her lover to materialize again.
“I’ll find you Anna, I swear to Jove...” She closes her eyes. “I will.”
