Is it possible for pregnant women to have normal intercourse ? I mean, will it actually hurt for them? (and if you don't mind me asking, are you and kate are still 'doing it' late at this stage of her pregnancy.)

Hi Danny. Yes is it possible for pregnant women to have sex during pregnancy, although it is not recommended after the third trimester. In any event, sexual intercourse with a pregnant female must be done gently and in the correct position to avoid hurting the baby.

I think that pregnant women are at their most beautiful, and the sight of a pregnant woman always arouses a protective instinct within me. Kate is getting rather pissed off with me hanging over her all the time!

Intercourse with pregnant women must be done in such a way that:-

* There is no undue pressure on the abdomen;

* The penis is not thrust wildly into the vagina causing cervical contact;

* Her back and neck are adequately supported to prevent pain.

If sexual intercourse is performed during the last trimester it is possible that early labour can be induced, so avoid that at any cost. Oral sex and masturbation however are great alternatives to actual intercourse during this period, and is completely safe.

To answer your question, yes Kate and I are still gently having sex at 7 and a half months, although it is always at her discretion and I am understanding of her hormonal chaos and general exhaustion at this time.
