Hi there anonymous. Shaving your pubic hair can be a fantastic way to enhance your sex life! Yes both Kate and I keep our pubic hair completely smooth, and there are several ways of doing it. In particular you need to:-

* Use the right razor (not the type designed for the face, use disposable shavers designed for ladies);

* Use a CLEAN, NEW razor;

* Run the razor under hot water first to kill bacteria;

* Use conditioner in your pubic hair a day before you shave to soften it up;

* Remove long hair with scissors first, then shave the stubble;

* Bathe first, soaking your pubic hair for at least ten minutes to soften up the hairs;

* Use plenty of shaving cream and shave SLOWLY, and;

* Prepare the skin properly before and after shaving. Immediately after shaving clean the area with anti bacterial soap, then use vitamin E moisturiser cream and talcum powder.

Red spots and rashes on the pubic area are the most common complaint from people who try shaving for the first time, followed by not being able to shave close enough to make the area completely smooth.
