Welcome and Hello to the World of Lix.

Eventually you will find stories here of love and romance that glorify the beauty of human companionship and relationships. You won't find instant attraction and 30 seconds later a sex scene. If you desire that check my favorites page, there are several good stories there that will fit that mold. But, unfortunately, my stories aren't here yet :( and this page itself really isn�t complete either. With that we move on to other topics.

Currently I'm building (with a great deal of help from others) the "Search and Review System" whereby Authors can receive reviews and comments by anonymous emails and Readers can search for stories. At some time in the future I hope to help setup a Revenue Generator for the ASSTR community.

Otherwise, I hang out in ASSD and heckle the locals.

Search and Review System Overview:

After reading the multitude of Story Code flame wars and hearing the pitiful cries of readers that they didn�t have a way to find stories that met their reading criteria, I decided to build something that might solve both. And so I started, and then it grew, and grew, and grew. And it�s not even close to stopping it�s growth (i.e. scope creep). The overriding thought for this system is that it is "self-healing*" and allows people to share their opinion on stories they read or write.

The system currently:

allows Readers to search for stories based on their criteria.

and allows the Reader to rate any story found.

allows Readers to add almost any story to the database.

where the reader can add their Story Ratings.
where the reader can select Story Codes.
where the reader can select Genre Codes.

allows Authors to receive anonymous reviews and comments.

and allows Authors to add stories just like Readers.

posts Weekly review submissions to ASSD.

*Self-Healing:
This system is "self-healing" in the sense of statistics. Eventually stories will receive enough reviews so that any "mistakes" in story codes will become outliers and thereby these mistakes will be easy for the human searcher to safely ignore.

ASSTR Community Revenue Generator Overview:

Multiple projects are under consideration to provide additional and more stable funding for the ASSTR community of services. But, ASSTR is a US based non-profit, so a delicate needle is being threaded to guarantee both full compliance with the ASSTR charter and to structure the revenue being sent to ASSTR to be acceptable to US 503(c) legal requirements. This project is moving now, but as with most completely volunteer type efforts it will be slow.
