A work meant for adults. Read something else if you are not an adult, or are offended by stories with sexual content. Then
again, if all you’re looking for is in-out, in-out, in-out, you should probably read something else. I welcome constructive comments. Enjoy.
Is this space opera, anthropology, mythology, or entymology? I’m not sure some times! My thanks to Homer Vargas and Denny for their corrections, comments, and suggestions. The remaining errors are of course mine (but please tell me about them if you find any).
It’s been a while! If you read this a while ago, and thought more things could happen after part 5, you were correct. In fact, the last two sections (of part 6) were written in 2001. But I had a problem with the beginning of part 6, dealing with mythology, “Story Time” and “Adda’s Story.” I wanted two creation myths, each congruent with the societies involved. The modern one wasn’t difficult, and I’m pleased with it. Adda’s was a bitch. I did a lot of reading (Campbell, Jung, and more), and lots of writing, but the things I tried didn’t work. Then I read Karen Armstrong’s A Short History of Myth. I also dug into Karl Jaspers. While I have problems with some of Jaspers (and Armstrong’s summary of Jaspers), the first 78 pages of A Short History of Myth gave me what I needed. That “little problem” out of the way, we’re finally done!
Here is the entire Saga as one PDF. Note that the PDF may lead (or lag) the individual parts!
