A Lesson in Manners

By

Don A. Landhill <DLandhill@aol.com>

Dorothea was perfectly lovely.  Her hair was coiffed, her dress was sheer, its tone perfectly matched to her own coloring.  She moved gracefully, she spoke clearly and in a charming tone.  Yes, she was lovely as she wended her way though the party.

However charming her tone, her words were grating.  She was arguing with or belittling everyone.  Finally, I heard her say to our hostess, "Nice snacks.  You must have slaved for minutes over a hot microwave."  That was the last straw.

I strode over to her, took hold of her upper arm, saying, "Dorothea, my sweet, I think we need to go now."

"But Dale, I'm having lots of fun, and just getting into the party mood."

"Dorothea, you are way into the Red Zone.  Now come on, we are going home for a little discussion."  I gripped her a bit more firmly, and propelled her out of the party and out to our car.  She knew better than to resist, but she whined all the way home.

"Da-ale! I wasn't doing anything wrong.  I was just having a good time.  Why do you have to be such a spoilsport?" I ignored her and concentrated on my driving.  Once home I led her into the guest room, staying silent enroute

"Dorothea, you've been whiny, bitchy, and generally rude to everyone at the party, and then to me!.  You've gone much too far, and I'm not going to stand it.  You know what you've earned.  When I come back here I want to see you with your nose in your corner, and your bottom bare."

"But Dale --"

"Scoot, Missy!"  She ran.

I let her stew for a while, never knowing when I would check up.  Then I came into the room, with the punishment paddle.  I put a pillow over the foot of the bed, then took her by the shoulders and marched her over to it. "Bend over!  Do you know why you are being paddled?"

"For rudeness.  But please --".  I cut her off with a sharp WHACK.  I paddled her soundly, covering every inch of her bottom and thighs, scolding her all the while.  I made it clear that I would not tolerate the kind of behavior she had shown today.  She sobbed and promised to be good.  Finally she was crying hard, and her rear was bright red.

"All Right, stand up!  Back to the corner, hands folded in front. No rubbing.  Stand still and quiet until I say otherwise.  Then it will be bedtime in here for you, little girl, without dinner.  I hope this teaches you a good lesson."

"Yes, Dale. I'm so sorry, really I am, dear."

I sat and watched her, eyes streaming, sides heaving, bottom glowing.  I knew that she was sincerely regretting her behavior.  The corner time was driving the lesson home.  Besides I loved to look at my just-punished wife.  Particularly at moments like this, it was even clearer to me than usual.  Dorothea was perfectly lovely.

The story is well-written.

But the theme of spanked naughty wives is a common storyline in spanking stories.  Thus, most story aspects like plot, characters, setting and point of view have been exhausted already.  So, in terms of content, sadly, this story offers nothing really new.

Hee hee -- lovely indeed!  Did the lovely Dorothea learn her lesson?  One kind of doubts it.  <g>!

I do not like Dorothea.  I do not like spankings given because a woman was nasty to others.  There doesn't seem to be anything redeeming about spanking Dorothea in this case.  Does she learn from this experience?  I do like the use of the sentence at the beginning and the end as it seemed to open and close the story fine.  Technically the story is sound.
