Frivolous, foolish fragment! Feels fairly feeble! Forces formidable forfeit! Fourteen fiery floggings? (Facetious finding, fortunately!)

I've found the alphabet poems really interesting, and this one is no exception. Most of the verses/stanzas work for me in a big way, but a few of them feel like a stretch. I think that just relates to the difficulty of finding enough F words (or G words, or whatever) that flow together and tie in to the subject at hand.
In this particular poem, I would have been happiest if it had skipped directly from the first verse to the fourth. But I enjoyed reading it in any case, and goodness knows I'm no expert.

I think these ABC stories have lost their edge. It's just words now. It's a fun idea, but got old a little too fast. This is just my opinion, but I think this story falls flat.

Well an orginal list of F words as opposed to the ones I generally get in the pub but , to me, these sort of exercises dont go anywhere. Maybe Im just not a poet or a visionary, I just like a good yarn at which Courtney is better than most but this kind of piece leaves me cold. Sorry.
