Ferengi & Jihadi

In the name of Allah, the all merciful, the almighty, fraternal greetings to Salahaddin Yusuf ibn Ayyub, Conqueror of Al- Quds, from his faithful soldier Akbar Al-Malik:
I am pleased to report that our expedition north of the Sea of Galilee was a success. Your forces routed a column of fleeing Franks, including the notorious red-bearded ferengi devil, Guillaume. Great devastation was inflicted, and none escaped. Sadly, the red-bearded devil fought valiantly, and was killed by accident. Or perhaps by his own hand, having heard of your vow to flay him alive and make his worthless skin into a kite to sail over the besieged castle at Acre. Such is Allah's will.
My brother will be entertained to hear of the capture of a number of the Frankish women, whom I propose to send to you by caravan in the coming days. Several of them are of noble birth, comely and of desirable age. I am sure that they will fetch either a rich ransom, or a fine price in the slave markets. The devil Guillaume's sister, Alice, is numbered among them. For those who care for the deathly pale skins and red hair of Franks, she is a remarkable beauty.
We have taken steps to tame the pride of these haughty women, who showed such contempt of us when captured. I am sure you will approve of our keeping them naked and caged, on display for the townspeople as we march back to camp. The
Imam and several of my lieutenants argued strongly that we should put Alice to the torture, in place of the slain Guillaume. I insisted, however, that such a decision was yours alone.
I did, however, decide to punish her for her unrestrained bad humor and insults to your soldiers and flag. And here, dear brother, I believe I have revealed for the first time the source of the intense amorous passions of the Frankish women. Alice is of no more than twenty summers. Unwed, and as far as one can verify, virginal.
She exhibited deep shame at being stripped of her clothes and shown to the troops. Since she still cursed us like a fishwife, I ordered her to be birched by two of our warriors, counseling them to not draw excessive blood, nor to let her fall unconscious, but to lay on heartily, especially on her buttocks, as one would with a willful child.
To our surprise, this red-haired vixen began to show unmistakable signs of arousal and excitement, in the shameless fashion of a paid harlot of the lowest kind. No befitting female modesty was displayed, and to those who speak the Frankish tongue, her words were most lewd and conduct quite unfitting.
I am sure you will find this an interesting subject to investigate more deeply, at your leisure. The Imam vows that
Alice is a she-devil, a djinni, and must not be permitted to live. In the meantime, with his approval, I have arranged for her to be beaten daily.
The End

An intesting title and a rather arousing account of effects of the public punishment of a naked girl. Well written in the deliberately 'affected' style of the Islamic conqueror but I was rather hoping it would say more than it actually did but I reckon the red haired vixen will be allowed tro live and be a source of pleasure to the Sheik

You capture the tone of a military report well in this, and also something of the values and beliefs of the time period. The pacing was excellent, and the spanking fit in well with the plot. This was a great story.

When I read the title of this I wondered what was coming. I found an enjoyable tale. A good idea to tell things, rather than show the happenings for once.
