.......... I HATE the corner. This is SO stupid! A spanking is bad enough. Why do I have to stand here with my bare heiny sticking out? Geeeeez, that really hurt! Mom was absolutely boiling! Don't ever remember her being that upset over a report card. It was ONLY three D's!' ............

Just a question, does having (3) D's mean there are still two more sessions to go? Or am I the only unlucky one. Cornertime goes with saying, fair or unfair, stupid is as stupid receives. Should have know better. This story hit a spiteful streak for me. Any evidence in feeling for the reader is evidence of a good story. Well Done.

Very cute mini-saga, with lots of expression packed into so few words. The last line is particularly funny, though it seems the miscreant in question hasn't really learned much of a lesson...
Perhaps a follow-up entitled Attitude Adjustment is in order? ;-) Nice work.

A tantalizingly brief glimpse into the mind of a decidedly unrepentant child. If she (yes, somehow I picture a girl here) doesn't understand why she has to stand there, then clearly she has not been punished nearly enough. Her Mom should repeat spankings and corner time as necessary until a much more humble and apologetic attitude is demonstrated.

If every spanker knew that cornertime consisted of such unrepentent thoughts, the whole practice would be banned for good! Always best to focus your corner thoughts on the punishment and how to avoid it in the future! No more Ds for you!
