I Had To Follow My Passion
By
Mara Maharakshasa <MaraMahaRakshasa@aol.com>
Oh well. I think it's resolved now. But, no excuses. I had to follow my passion. And luckily, she understood what I needed.
We'd started out as a fairly unusual couple. Sandra is an assistant district attorney, I'm a systems guy. We met when I was upgrading the network at city hall. She's a couple of years older than me, in her mid-forties, and tall and strikingly good-looking.
People don't say either about me. What got us talking was a shared interest in opera. Soon we had lunch together. Then, dinner.
Springtime in New York does funny things to people, and soon we were flirting. She's divorced, I'm single, so why not? We take a trip to Washington to see the cherry blossoms, and end up in bed.
What surprises me about Sandra is that she is a very submissive partner. Not one of these women constantly nagging 'do this, do that.' She's content to be pleasured in the way I choose. After a few weeks, when we're together at her apartment, smoking a joint after a long lazy afternoon fuck, she casually mentions that she'd like to be spanked.
I see why, I think. As a compensation for her powerful job, perhaps? And so, being an obliging kind of guy, I warm her buttocks for her, to her intense pleasure. I'd never seen a woman come from that, before.
It's a few weeks later, when we've progressed to me giving her a quite severe thrashing with a riding crop, that I betray my own interest in being dominated.
She stares at me: "Oh, no. Not you too! I can't believe
I've found another one!"
"Meaning what?"
"My ex-husband. Two of my boyfriends since." She shakes her head. "Aren't there any guys around who can just be a master?"
She seems quite annoyed.
"No, no. Don't take it like that. I only meant, if you wanted to. If you don't like doing it, that's fine. We'll just stay as we are"
She seems dubious. "And you'll be sulking, wondering why I won't give you what you want? That doesn't work."
I shrug. "Forget I said it, then."
She went to the bathroom and came back. Stared at me for a moment.
"I'm not giving up on you, hear me? I still want you to whip me, and make me cry."
"I will, I promise."
"But because I love you"
She's not said it before. I kiss her.
" and because you're not like them, well, let's see how it goes, shall we? Take turns, as the mood strikes us?"
I nod. "Fine."
"It's not that I don't like it, you see. But I get very greedy. Are you tough enough?"
"I hope so."
"So do I," she says, staring into my eyes. "I bite and scratch. I'll hit you really hard. And I won't let up till I've had enough."
"I understand."
"You'll be sorry," she smiles, licking her lips. "I'm going to write you a contract."
"I'll sign it."

Does he know what he's in for? What a strange twist of characterization. I sense she is cruel and devious while he is naive and honest. I think she has been the dominant one the entire time masquerading as a submissive. This was a clever ironic story.

The most effective part of this story is where you switched to conversation, rather than description, in the second half. The characters come through clearly, and the description at the beginning works well to set the scene.

This story does a good job of illustrating that sometimes people do things they never imagined they'd do, such as give a lover a spanking and ask to be spanked in return. It illustrates how a person who had not previously been involved in spanking can come to really enjoy it and wish to experiment, not just do it to be obliging.
