A switched-on Robert Burns? Yummy! It's a new idea to me, but Valerie brings out an SM potential in these lord-lady encounters which I'd never noticed before-- and she makes me wonder *why* I hadn't noticed. The verse spanks right along, too <g>.
I've not read every entry yet, but right now Valerie gets my vote for best variety of genres and voices.

The multi-talented Meilong applies her inventive hand to yet another genre. This nifty little parody of the traditional English ballad of the same name was a delight to encounter. Although some readers might have found a reference to the parody's source to be polite and helpful, I myself favour the alternative view, that lack of a citation enhances the piece's mystique, and that the sufficiently interested reader will enjoy researching the matter for {him/her}self.
