I like this account of a caning scene, because it covers the whole picture; going beyond just focusing on the caning itself by giving due attention to emotions and to the trust, skill, and courage necessary to successfully push limits. Good job of describing the whole experience!

In this poem Jodi effectively conveys the emotions of someone being caned for the first time. I particularly like how she illustrates the care and insight of the top, and the emotional connectedness of the couple.
