That Lousy Key
By
Nadia A Salem <nadia.a.salem@gte.net>
The key turned easily in the lock. That lousy key. I hear it so often and so much yet today is different. What if the guy unlocking that door knows. What if he decides to spank me and put me in the corner. I know I did wrong. Doesn't mean he has to know.
That tottally annoying key. That key so annoyingly turning. That door slowly opening. That mistake slowly reminding me evertime I hear the key. He couldn't have found out. maybe I will get away with it. Maybe He'll never find out. I don't have to tell him. No one would tatle on me would they. come on key stop being annoying.
The door finally opens. "I DID IT"
The End

A cute little piece of flash fiction. The action here could be taking place in less than a split second, and it's very archetypal-- representing what goes on, no doubt, in many a sub's mind.

This story is a simple, yet sweet picture of anticipation, familiar to anyone who has ever faced possible punishment. Even though the main character obviously doesn't want a spanking, it shows that the relationship between her and the disciplinarian is one of trust, not fear. Good job.
