Prologue
KK turned the story completely over to me after we'd completed the fourth chapter. I greatly appreciate his work and talent. Neither of us intended for the story to be as lengthy as it has turned out to be, but the story just kept begging to be told. The character “Melissa” in this story is not the same “Melissa” as in my first three stories.
Sibling incest occurs throughout most of the story, as well as numerous adult/teen situations.

James & Beth Davidson - Youth minister and wife - in their late-twenties Tom & Rachel Thornton - Music minister and wife - in their early-forties Carl & Janet Preston - Children: Derek & Jennifer – Derek is two years older than Jennifer Jason & Cynthia Thompson - Sarah’s maternal grandparents.
Kari Walcott is a little older than Penny Rayner, but they are in the same grade and are close friends. Mike Walcott and Jamie Livingston are the same age and grade, as well as being friends. Andrea Livingston, Colleen Clark, Maggie Rayner, Terri Walcott, and Doris Thomas are in their middle to late thirties, with their husbands being either their age or a few years older. Andrea and Colleen grew up together. Andrea meets Maggie, Terri, and Doris during college. Bradley Thomas is the pastor of the main characters’ church. Carl Preston is in his late-thirties, and his wife is in her mid-thirties. They are relatively new to living in the area. Melissa befriends their daughter Jennifer during cheerleader tryouts. Tammy Addison and Melissa are good friends at school but don't live close to each other. Tammy is very popular among her classmates. Becky Jordan is a bit of a stuck-up snob, but has always been friends with Melissa. Jennifer Preston and Melissa are in the same grade together. She moved
into the area with her family a year before the story begins. Melissa
befriended her during cheerleader tryouts during their first Spring
semester together. Sarah doesn't know Jennifer that well.
