Piper's Domain Challenge

Challenges consist of themes or subjects for writers to center a story on. There is always an active challenge, which is replaced every month or so. Anyone can submit an idea for a challenge by sending an email to Piper or leaving a comment. The reward for completing a challenge is a badge by the writer's pen name. Unlike contest badges, a writer can only earn one Challenge Badge, but of course a writer is free to complete multiple challenges. Also unlike contests, writers are not competing for the prize. Every writer who completes a challenge will earn a badge. If a challenge changes but the writer submits an appropriate story within a reasonable time, the writer can still earn the badge. The challenge can be found in the left column of every page, but it is also reproduced below.
