Secret Announcement

All Authors, Friends, Non-Friends and other interested parties

This is an adjunct to the upcoming ASSM Anniversary Song/Story Festival being run by Dryad. It is an additional Category/Little Festival in itself and it hoped you will all wish to play.

Before I begin further descriptions, or parameters, let's set forth the primary and most important rule:

NO ONE IS TO BREATHE A WORD TO OUR ALEXIS IN ALASKA!!!!!!!

This addition to the Song/Story Fest is taken directly from her and is intended for her ..... to celebrate her impending birthday.

The idea taken from her was that which led to the whole song into story idea to begin with .... to take an Elvis Presley song and build a story from it.

In a nutshell, that is the whole idea of this adjunct to the proposal already made by Dryad, only the stories written for this portion of the fest are to be submitted before 25 October 2002, so they may all be posted in time for Alexis' birthday.

The idea: To celebrate Alexis' Birthday with her own idea - Take any Elvis Presley song and make it into a story.

The Submission: Is to be made on or before October 25, 2002, and is to be marked (Birth) on the subject line (NOT: Song Fest) this will identify them as a part of both the original festival and Alexis' birthday celebration and insure they are posted properly.

Submissions can be made immediately upon completion as the moderators are being notified to hold those with (Birth) on the subject line for posting at the appointed time.

The Warning: Do not breathe a word to Alexis herself ..... not even in allusion .... this is one savvy woman and she has already braced me about my participation in some 'secret event' for the upcoming ASSM anniversary. She'd "heard rumbles" and asked me about it saying she "could keep a secret". (I lied through my teeth folks - I'm sure I will hear about "that" later). so - - - NO ONE TELLS ALEXIS!!!!!

The reason I am doing this .... First, as is well known, I like Alexis .... Second, I am a smart ass and the idea appeals to me ..... Third, This is Dryad's first festival and I volunteered to help - having already tried the secret email game technique before it falls to me to introduce this one as well.

So, take any Elvis Presley Song (I have a listing available of over 700 songs that Elvis sang during his career - for any who may wish it - finding the lyrics is your job). Make that song into an erotic story and submit it to the normal ASSM/ASS story submission address with (Birth) as part of the subject line. The moderators will hold it for posting on Alexis' birthday.

Remember one of Dryad's primary requirements for these stories .... they must have either the lyrics from the inspiration song appended or a link showing where the lyrics can be found.

There are no further requirements than that .... any style, category, topic, characters or subject you wish as long as it's based on an Elvis song.
