Lore was the fourth android created by Dr. Noonien Soong. Unlike Data, Lore was created with emotions and can use contractions in his speech. Problems with Lore's ethical program caused Lore to be very self-centered and ambitious. He is some times referred to as the "evil" brother. (NOTE: Takara says he's just misunderstood).

Only later was it discovered that he had left an incredible legacy by doing so while working on a private science colony in the Omicron Theta system .

Data's cat. Origins unknown. Data "obtained" the orange tabby in 2367. The feline was quite finicky and not just food-wise. Data created at least 221 different food supplements for Spot. She was also well known for her "attacks" on various senior officers, sending a number of them to sickbay for treatment for scratches.

Born Juliana O'Donnell, She wed and worked beside Dr. Noonien Soong until she died in 2336. An duplicate android continued in her place, divorcing Soong and marrying Dr. Pran Tainer. Data met Juliana Tainer in 2371.

Security officer aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise-D. In 2367 Lt. (j.g.) D'Sora broke up with her boyfriend and while "on the rebound" began a brief romance with Data. Despite the android's attempts to program himself with the intricacies of love, the relationship was awkward. At one point Jenna told Data that there was something artificial about his behavior, and Data concurred, reminding her that all of his behavior was based on a program and therefore artificial. Before long she broke off the relationship, realizing that her previous boyfriend was unemotional and that her choice of Data, a man completely incapable of emotion, indicated a pattern that she could no longer deny.

Starfleet officer and Daystrom Institute of Technology's Chair of Robotics. Maddox was the only member of a panel to vote against allowing Data admission to Starfleet Academy based on his opinion that Data was not a senient being. His desire to dismantle Data prompted the 2365 adjudication of Data as a sentient life form.
