Egyptian Story Contest

We are currently having an Egyptian-themed story writing contest on the Collection. The contest is now ending on May 1st, 2012. I promise that the deadline won't change anymore. I extended it because the authors at DeviantArt were notified of the contest late. All stories must be e-mailed to me (cordial.knot@gmail.com) or submitted via the "Submit a Story" page by midnight on that Tuesday. Stories will not be displayed until the contest has closed to prevent anyone from "borrowing" ideas. Click here or scroll down to see the contest rules. E-mail me if you have any questions.

The winner of each category will receive a drawing based on their story by sleepymaid.

Contest Rules

1. The story must tie into Egypt in some way but Egypt does not have to be the setting. For instance, you could write about an Egyptian curse, artifact, god, etc.
2. There must be a girl under the age of 18 in the story, whether or not she is a main character.
   Shota is allowed, as long as there is a girl in the story as well.
3. Mind control must be a dominant theme in the story.
4. The story must be erotic, but there does not have to be sex.
5. No cruelty, torture, or snuff.
6. Only OCs, no fan fiction.
7. There is no limit to the number of entries per author.

There are three different categories that your stories will be judged for. Every story is up for consideration in every category. The winner in each category will receive a drawing by sleepymaid based on his/her story. A story may only win in one category.

1. Most Egyptian
   This story must be in line with the theme. This does not mean that the story is set in Egypt but there should be a strong Egyptian influence in the story.
2. Most Creative
   The biggest part of this category is originality. Whether it is the method of mind control, the personality of a character, or the plot line, there must be something that stands out.
3. Hottest Story
   This does not necessarily mean that there is a lot of sex. Rather, emphasis should be placed on details of the characters and the setting. It should feel like you are actually watching this story unfold.
