Dr. Ozone has some excellent patterns here and the best advice for creating web graphics I've seen outside of the Adobe site.
THE best directory of clipart and web graphic sites on the web, with links to coding advice, too. If you want to start somewhere, start here.
Font Resources
Apostrophic Lab
Many unique typefaces for both test and fanciful use. There's at least fifty here.
Chank is a weird guy but he has a lot of cool fonts, some of which are free.
Many unique fonts designed by a Polish man.
If you want to see what English language fonts designed by non-English speaking, ideograph-writing font designers look like, go here, and look under "Lovely Items." The text is in Japanese, but there are dozens of free fonts, some of them very unusual, and skater punk cartoons reminiscent of Vaugn Bode's work. For more Japanese fonts, check out
ADD.
Many fonts with a techno and retro feel, all designed by the site's creator.
These are the folks I get my favorite typefaces from, the ones that were used to design these pages. Not sure they'd want to know that, but.. check out their Dinosaur font and the typefaces mimicking the handwriting of the great art masters.
Pizzadude's got some excellent fonts here, which are all shareware.
The best source out there for free futuristic, high-tech, and retro-rave fonts.
Other Writers on the Web
This section is intended to highlight the work of other erotica writers on the web whose work has an SF, fantasy, or horror flavor.
Many, many stories, some with fantasy and historical themes, written by a gay Italian man.
If you liked Paragon vs. Plastica, check out some of Anne's superhero(ine) erotica about Batgirl and Supergirl.
Lord of the Rings erotic fanfic with an emphasis on the Silmarillion. Tolkien would have written this if he'd been into BDSM.
M/M erotica, mostly fantasy, from a Swedish writer; the stories are translated into English. Darkly beautiful but cruel stuff reminiscent of Storm Constantine's work.
SF and fantasy stories about being eaten, with sexual overtones.
Fantasy and SF erotica by Tom Bombadil, A Pulp Fan, and others.
Dusk Darkling writes excellent slash and M/M stories, many of which, in her own words, center on the "power differentials" between master and slave, lord and servant.
When it somes to hard science fiction erotica (like, is there any other kind?) Elf Sternberg is the best. End of discussion. He's also a site designer peer and a fellow Seattleite.
Farleven writes mind control and sex slave stories with fantasy and science fiction themes. Not as original as some others, but boy they are hot.
Remember an old Japanese anime series from the late 70s called Battle of the Planets? Well, in Japan it was called Gatchaman, and there's a large number of fanfics written about it here, including some of the NC-17 variety.
SF, historical, and fantasy slash heavy on the rape and torture side. Dark, but excellent nonetheless.
Erotica with science fiction, transformation, and ASFR themes.
Epic fantasy novel with elves, bards, and wizards... and petrification? Includes some Tolkien-inspired maps.
Science fiction and fantasy erotica, mostly M/M and slash, but there are some M/F stories too. Most have BDSM and/or furry themes.
Naga has some interesting transformation pics, comics, and stories here.
BDSM stories about the domination of Trent Reznor, of NiN. Not quite SF or fantasy, except in an alternate universe sense, but I enjoyed it, so it's here.
Bill Lemieux's bondage erotica, some of which has science fiction themes. Heavy on the toys and the leather.
Archive site for Key fiction, anime-inspired M/M stories about young men who are thrust into a slave situation in a fantasy or science fiction setting. The sister site, Castle of the Chains, does the same thing for a female protagonist.
Fanfic set in Storm Constantine's Wraeththu universe.
Supernatural erotica featuring a sinister magic book.
SF and fantasy transformation stories by Leem with statue themes.
The naughty, amusing adventures of comic-book females in lycra, spandex, and chainmail.
"Deadly babe" site focusing on stories about powerful females in life-or-death situations. Many have science fiction and fantasy themes.
Erotic stories about men, both gay and straight, who become statues.
This is a commercial site, but there is adult comic fanfic available in Mr X's archive. Check out the artwork too; it's very, very, good and very, very smutty. The Black Pearl and the Paragon girls would look like this if I could draw as well.
Science fiction erotica, some stories with spanking themes.
The site of "Tito's Adventures" a M/M original slash series about a bisexual swordsman in a fantasy world of evil warlords, elves, and dragons. Highly smutty, yet sensitive and romantic.
A furry BDSM science fiction novel about a cheetah girl's capture by interplanetary slavers.
Excellent stories about Supergirl and her erotic adventures. If you like Team Paragon you'll like this too.
Trilby has a lot of excellent fantasy and science fiction erotica here with F/F and mind control themes. Check out "Pawn" if you liked The Black Pearl series.
Sci-fi, fantasy, and furry erotica.
Novel-length BDSM erotica with a good-natured Dungeons and Dragons flavor. Think of it as product from an oversexed gaming session.
Writing and World-Building Resources
I've found the Internet is the best writer's tool there is, particularly when doing research.
An extremely useful resource for a writer.
Many, many great books online here, from The Bible to the Arabian Nights.
Info site for those seeking information about erotic stories on the net.
One of the best sites I've found for discussing and analyzing the sexual subtexts in science fiction and fantasy books. Don't let the feminist overtones fool you.
Check here before you begin to write.
Another great tool for fantasy world-building, containing links to generating engines for islands, calendars, characters, even phases of the moon (with multiple moons.)
If you write fantasy fiction this site is a must, especially if you have trouble coming up with names for your characters. Lists of names in French, 14th-century Swedish, Hawaiian, and many many more.
Does about a dozen different genres of names. Very quick to use.
Another name generator with many diffferent scripts (Tolkien, Deverry, Kender, etc.) in a pull-down window. Names tend towards the unpronouncable than usable.
If you want to see your name transposed into the Lord of the Rings Universe, try this out.
This is one of the sources I used to write "Prize Pig." Useful for writing fantasy stories.
Another generator for all sorts of made-up names. This one uses a Perl script that changes at midnight every day. Probably the best.
Many different name generators for people, places, and things, all with a fantasy slant.

Extensive site about about Athas, a bleak, hostile, Conanesque planet of despotic city-states, slavers, and barbaric versions of halflings, elves, and dwarves.

A world based on Mesoamerican cultures, a creation of M.A.R. Barker.

Hilarious reviews of really bad movies, the kind we all know and love.
Fun with Jesus. Irreverant, sacriligious, and very funny.

Exhaustive site of movie goofs caught on film and never corrected.
