This is a very interesting story. The introspective nature of the story I found enjoyable. The metaphor of a sex athlete for any other field that you feel you have reached your peak in is also good. I can see the same type of ideas and emotions going on in the head of anyone ready to leave a job they have done for a long time. Maybe I'm reading too much into it.

THAT IS SOME VERY GOOD WRITING

I enjoyed getting lost in the details as they come out. Your sentences so clearly describe actions as thoughts occur I could see her moving to kiss her new lover. That description, "tasting sweat and navigating the contours of the hard reddish skin of the aureole of motherhood," just awed me.

I really enjoyed this... it's a unique perspective to take, and what I really enjoyed about it is how you kept up the little details about the perspective: the steps she took for example, the feelings rather than the sights. It's a great read. Well done!

A great story. I liked that you made the characters full and real and made their disabilities simply a part of who they were. The focus on the love and romance, while allowing their disabilities to remain in the background, show how they were like any other couple emotionally.

what i love

What is more perverse everyone being dressed and just a few people nude? Or everyone being nude and just a few people being dresse?

Bradley Stoke did a humorous short on this variation - where a girl had to go to school clothed and not let anyone touch in a world where everyone was nude and highly sensual.

Read the Title of the Story

Good Lawdy Lawdy, do none of the readers read the Titles of the Tales?

This Title suggested the outcome of the ‘girl’, not going for the ‘snip’, though not the proclivities of the guy which was also a pleasant surprise.

And the tantalising ‘red herrings’ scattered throughout, mention of a haircut, snip snip, and the Restaurant Bill, “A snip under ...”. The red herrings were so well placed that they made me wonder about the girl really being a guy, or should I look for some other ‘snip’.

and then, Bravo Bradley, the “snap” at the end.
