Surely a poem won't get straight 10s! But this one does. Back in the days before I wrote these reviews, I used to have time to read the comics in my local newspaper. One of my favorites was Calvin and Hobbes. Calvin used to have "opposite days." Like Calvin, the author of this poem describes what NOT to do to make a woman happy; but the poem gives a delightful description of exactly how to make a woman melt in your arms. I often say that good poetry differs from greeting card verse. However, I would be quite happy to open a greeting card and read this poem. Fuck it!
