Do we need another story code? Maybe not; but recently, there has been a flood
of stories of the type that are neither aptly described by "MF rom" nor
"TRUE". I think it's wonderful that by taking a few small liberties with
history, people are able to gratifyingly put down on paper (or more
accurately, record electronically!) the most interesting parts of their sex
lives. The best part is that the quality of the postings in this genre has
risen considerably above the Penthouse forum-esque stuff of a few years ago.
I'm only surprised none of the disclaimers have the irresistible tagline,
"Based on true events".

Synopsis: In "Just a Normal Night with Zel", we start out with a slightly
high-strung teacher who is grading papers while playing a little hard to get
with his lover, Zelia. They wind up in each others' arms before long.

The charm of this snapshot of an evening is in its relative universality for
longtime MF couples. The author conveys a sense of well-trodden ground in the
sexual habits of the characters, and mixes it thoroughly with the messy
details of tension between lovers. This is mid-workweek sex between weary folk
that must contend with getting up in the morning. People who know each other
very well, including those ticks that annoy each other. People who need
somewhat of a catalyst in order for the situation to unfold.

The chief stumbling block in this text is the pacing; the action peaks a
little too soon. The author glides through a great shower sequence without
triteness, then follows up with some less impressive writing during a cock-
sucking interlude, which leads to the substellar final fuck. With a story this
short (about 200 lines), I'm left feeling like I sneezed and missed the
climax.
