"Purple Tornado" by David Lawrence (Road Not Taken) 9, 10, 10
"Purple Tornado" by David Lawrence (dhl@elektra.sysun.com). The Purple Tornado is not a silent lover - nor are her partners, who never know what will happen next. The story gives us a taste of her zest for life and of the improbability of her ever having a stable relationship. The author ends with a Robert Frost moment - what would life have been life had he and she settled down together? I suppose it would be unkind to suggest that he married the woman "less traveled by...."
